cavegod Posted October 29, 2010 Author Posted October 29, 2010 How about these? I have a few, never had an issue with them slipping. yeah they won't slip but i cannot lower the gear ratio with them, it's summat to think about though Again it's gigantic! The back wing looks good. nah it's relatively small now a UCS AT-AT that would be gigantic! Quote

Brickdoctor Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 i may even take a pic of them together when it's complete. You know what you should make after this? Minifig-scale UCS Titan Dropship: Quote
cavegod Posted November 2, 2010 Author Posted November 2, 2010 Well i've modified the gear train so that it doesn't slip but the wings are still too heavy they fold down no problem but to fold them up with out breaking more gears they have to have a helping hand. Quote

Ritz Brick Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I always did think that ship was kind of silly looking, but yours looks great, good attention to detail on it. Quote

cavegod Posted November 3, 2010 Author Posted November 3, 2010 wow that looks big. nice work. how is it balancing on only two feet? Carefull planning, sheer ingeniusness by myself an imense amount of calculation and trial and error and above all else amazing blind luck! nah theres a lot of bricks in the front as counterbalance you will see in the pictures that there is a black tech beam holding the rear up on a hard surface it sits fine and can take a good knock without falling backwards. gratefulnat Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Nice job, Cavegod ! Not sure about your carpet, though...... :-) Now that just made my day!!! Glad to know you share his opinion on the carpet though, Cavegod. Otherwise great work on the ship, will there be any pictures of the interior? Quote

Brickdoctor Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 or i'm open to suggestions i just want something thats not white, black or grey lol Kinda hard to find anything nice and big from the OT that's not one of those colors, so how about an MTT with all 112 B1s? Quote
Fallenangel Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Radiant VII? Oh, wait, all of yours are in minifigure scale... then... Khetanna? Jawa sandcrawler? World Devastator? (I see you're considering video game ships, so why not Dark Empire?) There's also the Jabitha, the Seismic tank, and the CR-20 troop transport - all from the Clone Wars. Quote

cavegod Posted November 4, 2010 Author Posted November 4, 2010 well i've hit a wall in the building process, the lambdas cockpit works looks ok but looks wrong, to use the proper design i have found will leave no room to place a minifig behind the windscreen, plus i cannot figure a decent way to build it.
