Brickdoctor Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Just build it with these... [snip] Huh, I was at LLC the other day and even though they don't sell Quatros anymore, they actually list those soft ones for sale in a little display case. Of course, 84 pieces is already $500+. Quote
cavegod Posted December 29, 2010 Author Posted December 29, 2010 First post updated with finished pictures. Quote
General Magma Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Woah, that's both gigantic and amazing. Fantastic work, as usual! Your UCS models are all amazing, great job. Gotta love 'em. Do you have a comparison picture of it standing next to the official 10212 UCS Imperial shuttle? I recall having seen one, but I don't know if it's still around. ~ General Magma Quote
prateek Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Wow! I love that bulgy thing on the side. It looks very nice Quote

Brickdoctor Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 AH! Thank goodness for your Flickr, 'cause those pics are huge. Anyways, I love the finished model. It's so sleek and white, with all the right greebling in all the right places. The inaccurate cockpit from 10212 works well here, too. Quote
Ceroknight Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 It looks fantastic, do you have a size comparative with the Lego released one? Quote

Pah i'd change your isp the pics load in seconds and i only have 4mb connection Thanks for the positives, there are a few things i would like to change but it would involve major surgery (widening the troop compartment by 2-4 studs and also lengthening it by a few) both are major changes to the structure so may never happen. KimT Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Since this is complete, do you want to make a new topic with the finished MOC or do you want me to remove the WIP and add this one to the MOC Index (and frontpage)? Quote

BrickArtist Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 lego have made that aswell... A UCS Rebel dish turret! You should do some odd-ball stuff, with your skills. A darth vader helmet! Stuff like that... Quote
Anio Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Nice ! You have some very nice greebs, and the shape of the shuttle is IMO good. It was not easy to capture it. Though, I think I would have done the main wing a bit different. Nothing very important. Do you have a pic with the wings up ? By the way, what's your next MOC ? Quote

There's a pic in the thread somewhere with the wings up and landed. As for my next MOC i have hit a wall with it at the moment so it's on hold till i work out a solution. just out of interest how would you have made the central wing? a different shape? Quote
Future74 Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Since this is complete, do you want to make a new topic with the finished MOC or do you want me to remove the WIP and add this one to the MOC Index (and frontpage)? Cavegod this MOC is awesome as always. I dont know if you would want a new topic, but if I could make a suggestion; do make some new pictures so it's displayed in all its might and frontpaged at its very best. This would be well deserved. The last shots are way better than before. Great job! Quote
cavegod Posted December 30, 2010 Author Posted December 30, 2010 The first post has new pictures if they are too big then my flikr has smaller ones. Quote

Masked Builder Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 The finished ship looks amazing! Definitely worth the wait to see it finished. I do wish the inside could actually hold troops. But other then that it's absolutely amazing! Quote
Enpaz Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 That's a masterpiece, cavegod! The shape is perfect and I love all the greebles... Cheers! Quote
