Swash Buckler Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 ARRRR!! Piratey town built out of wrecked ships more pics from here:Shipwreck town Quote
Rick Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 What a mess! But very piratey indeed aaar. Nice work. Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Great! That's exactly like how a pirate town should be. Nice how you put all those ship parts in it and made it a real piraty mess And I also like all the little rooms and houses in it. Good job Quote
Dan the Brickman Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I like the town overall, it just seems a little too cluttered, but I suppose thats how pirates live. Quote
Tycho McKorley Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Nice MOC although I agree that the clutter is almost too much. However, a pirate probably wouldn't care. I also like your clever use of ship hulls to make the town. All the wrecks make me wonder if this town is in some particularly dangerous waters (or if Bluecoats were piloting the vessels). Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 WOW. That is something else. This is the kind of MOC that photos never do justice to unfortunately. Very piratical! Quote
Ratshot Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Creativity, Creativity, Creativity!! You have really packed a lot of action onto that plate. Keep it up Quote
Big Cam Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I love this, it reminds me so much of the city in waterworld. Expect to see this on the blog. [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] Quote

Yeah it looks cluttered in pics but actually i made my best to avoid cluttery look- i didn't just throw pieces here and there... most of the wrecks are actually attached to base plate with most weirdest techniques i've ever invented Quote
Dan the Brickman Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 (edited) Wait! I just realized, no Jolly Roger on one of the "top" masts?... Still a very nice moc though! and, I did find some interesting stuff in there. Edited July 15, 2010 by Dan the Brickman Quote
BlueBard Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 A really original and delicious piratey mess! Reminds me to the beginning of Monkey Island II Quote
