Jeff Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 (edited) Hello i am Jeff, im 29 years old, from Canada Quebec city. I am not english native so pardon my bad english, i speak in french most of the time. I have been around this site for a bit, watching the forums and things made by others. I very enjoy playing with legos again... well virtualy playing. I had alot of legos when i was younger, had few sets and alot of unused blocks i had to build custom things. I sold all my blocks 15 years ago... i shouldnt done that. I have keep all plans, so nothing is all lost at least, so i can build them back in LDD. I have re-made some of my old set on LDD, i should post them here somewhere. Edited July 14, 2010 by Jeff Quote
Big Cam Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Welcome to the forum, hopefully LDD will bring you as much joy as your old sets and maybe bring you back to buying more of the real thing. Enjoy the forums. Quote

VBBN Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 In this forum here; http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showforum=128 As a general note,I don't know if you have seen the announcement or note, but good grammer is encouraged, try to use captial letters when beginning a sentance and captilizing "I" , other than that though you seem to have good english for mostly speaking french. Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted July 15, 2010 Eurobricks Emperor Posted July 15, 2010 Hey Jeff, welcome at Eurobricks! Sorry to hear you sold your collection when you were younger. I'm one those people trying to buy collections from kids who don't want them anymore, so I can tell you it feels good to be on the other side of this. Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 Welcome Jeff. I am sure you will enjoy being a member of EB. Hey Jeff, welcome at Eurobricks! Sorry to hear you sold your collection when you were younger. I'm one those people trying to buy collections from kids who don't want them anymore, so I can tell you it feels good to be on the other side of this. Actually I heard you just take their sets when their parents aren't looking and run for it. Quote

XimenaPaulina Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 My 2nd creation from old lego plan. LDD set: 6989 - M Tron: Mega Core Magnetizer, mod-1 That is a pretty good design Jeff, but I think it would be more appropriate if you post this on the Sci-fi forum and not in your nearly-month-old Intro topic. I did post it on the Official Lego sets made in LDD, I just wanted to add it on my "Hello" topic as an archive area :) Edited August 11, 2010 by Jeff Quote
Superkalle Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Hi Jeff Welcome to Eurobricks. Regarding posting LDD work, please read this topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=39841 As you can see, MOCs, mods etc should bascially be posted in that theme forum. The topic you posted your mods in, should preferably only contain strict recreations of official sets. Naturally if your aim is to make an official LEGO set in LDD, and some pieces are missing, you can substitute those as well as possible. Once again, welcome to EB! Quote
