timura Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 A Scene from the battle between the evil forces of Bat-Warriors with their War Elephant and Crown Knights. War Elephant is heavily armored and protected by archers on it. A battle helmet with Huge blades and Metal Horn is put on the elephant to make him unstopable. Crown Pikemen on the field are trying to stop the beast while archers on the wall are launching everying they got on it. Here are some pictures from the battlescene: Additional pictures of the Armor of the Elephant: Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 The war elephant's color scheme is really nice, but it seems like you have too many minifigs and not enough landscaping and detailing, if you know what I mean. Personally, I really don't like seeing plain baseplates with a bunch of minifigs on top; I like using SNOT a lot more. Quote
lightningtiger Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 An excellent well-armoured elephant you have there 'timura' - nice castle wall with a small tower to boot ! A little plant life and a few dead minifigs on the ground would complete the scene perfectly ! I'm a conformist! 'timura' I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Brig. Brick Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 in the words of Alexander the Great.... "shoot to the legs" fight against a war elephant was like fighting a tank, had to have a lot of guts! great MOC Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 Great MOC timura! I love the fight scene and the elephant armor. Though I have to second the others on the lack of landscape details, but that's something you can easily address. Quote
gotoAndLego Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 The grey SNOT work on the actual elephant is amazing. Quote
CMP Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 All ya need is a Snowspeeder and some tow cables.... I like this MOC, especially the Bat Knights themselves. Quote
Alex the Great Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 in the words of Alexander the Great...."shoot to the legs" Why thank you, I really love the armoured elephant, and the battle scene is quite cool too. Keep it up! Quote
Brig. Brick Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 Why thank you, I really love the armoured elephant, and the battle scene is quite cool too. Keep it up! HA HA HA I was referring to the real one, I not knew that an user used this name ... "Shoot at the legs" was the order given by alexander the great to his troops, the first time when the Macedonian army encounter an army of war elephants Quote
ANT Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 I like your bat-warriors colour scheme, the soliders "uniforms" are really nice Quote
Batbrick Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Very neat job on the elephant timura, I really didn't expect that despite the title and I've never really seen someone put armour on the Lego elephant before. Very cleverly done, though I'm not a huge fan of the colour scheme. The assembly of the other figs and wall is just icing on the cake that really sets the scene. I think there needs to be a bit more landscape, but the elephant and gear themselves already make this an awesome creation in my book. Batbrick Away! Quote
timura Posted July 21, 2010 Author Posted July 21, 2010 Thanks everybody for your critics and opinions ;) Quote
