Superrrrfly69 Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 What do you think is the worst Hero Factory set? Mine is Von Nebula. I have him and he is just a person who has a bunch of pieces clicked together on him. Quote
Aanchir Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 What do you think is the worst Hero Factory set? Mine is Von Nebula. I have him and he is just a person who has a bunch of pieces clicked together on him. I think that's what he's supposed to look like. Considering he was once a hero, I imagine that he just "upgraded" his parts several times to get his current, villainous look. I agree, though, that he's probably the least attractive of the villains, due to his mind-numbingly flat color scheme, awkward anatomy, and questionable stylistic consistency. I can't really pick a "worst", because I feel from the reviews I've seen most of the sets are on pretty equal footing. Maybe if/when I get some of the sets for myself I'll be able to judge them more critically against one another. Quote
Bundalings Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 I don't have any in hand yet, but from the pictures, Von Nebula and Corroder look the least attractive... Quote
Zip Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 I used to think that it was Xplode, but it was due to the crappy poses. Von Nebula takes the cake. Hole in back, wobbly thighs/head, random pins sticking out, etc, etc. He's a great parts pack though. Quote
Captain M Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 I'd have to say the Furno Bike. Those tires aren't just right, and the whole vehicle itself looks like a bunch of long technic connector bricks/rods slapped together. Quote
Leugi Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Jimi Stinger, I just thing that with such a cool element he could be thousand times better and is the only Hero Helm I dislike... Quote
VBBN Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Jimi Stinger, I just thing that with such a cool element he could be thousand times better and is the only Hero Helm I dislike... How exactly do you make a figure look like an element like sonics? Quote
Captain M Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 How exactly do you make a figure look like an element like sonics? Pack a free music player in each Jimi Stringer canister. Quote
Brickthing Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 From the pictures, I think Thunder is probably the weakest set, because he looks like a silver Hordika remake while all the other sets have some unique and excellent qualities to them. Von Nebula may have a very awkward arm design, but the set has some great pieces and overall looks very menacing. Quote
Bfahome Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Toss up between Breez and Thunder, though I'd use the phrase "least favorite", since "worst" brings to mind untamable raeg. Breez's helmet looks a bit too much like Zesk's/Vorox's for me to see it in a different light, but not similar enough to make the turn back to "omg soo cuute how is s/he not a hero :3" that Zesk pulls off. That and her weapons are a bit blah compared to the others'. Thunder for his strange armor and uneven silver distribution. His claw seems cool, though. Quote
The Crazy One Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 I am going to have to say Vapour. However cool the recoulers are, it's a very sloppy design and his arms don't bend. But it was close. Von Nebula almost got it. That's just my opinion though. Quote
Aethersprite Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Well, I think they all look great, so I won't pick one. Quote
toatali Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Jimi Stringer... Runner up Breez. Seriously though Von Nebula is awesome once you get him Quote
