Yes store have a list available for what is available for order, mostly it is what you see on the wall plus a couple extra types in between. And it is still on what is available at the warehouse, what store gets what, and what store ordered what. As to list specific available elements, it is impossible to tell what is available at a given moment.

The boxes are the best value out there. If you can not get them at a LEGO store, then bl will cost you close to twice as much as the $70 box. If you can not find it on bl, then lego.com will cost you even ore than bl. gl.

1x1 : 6150

1x2 : 2800

1x3 : 1800

1x4 : 1300

1x6 : 826

2x2 : 1400

2x4 : 675

2x6 : 400

I just wish I could get my hands on a few 1x2 boxes in bley and dark grey!

i was wondering if you knew how many 1x3 plates and 1x2 plates come in a case because i'm ordering from my local lego store and want to be sure i will have enough

I have not seen 1x2 plates in many colors on the pab wall. Sorry, I don't have the counts. I would assume is close to a 2.5 factor of the 1x2 bricks. So around 700 plates.

Does anyone have a list of what elements are available for a LEGO store to order to stock their PaB wall? Is it basically the same selection as the PaB online?

Some stores are listed here and are updated by customers.

I would really die to get my hand on a few of these boxes... I'll definately have to look at it if I ever go to the states again.

Do the Lego stores in Europe sell these boxes? otherwise, Do they sell by Weight or by Cup? I'd be intrested in comparing Cup prices actully :classic:

I know for our large cup in my store it is like 15.50 USD if you bring in your old cup, before sales tax

and my store does it based on you just pay for the cup and fill it up the top has to close or be close to closing they always tape it anyway

hope this helped

$15.50, really? It was only $15 (or 14.50 with old cup) when I went over last year. Must have put it up, intresting.

Actually I had thought they were $7 and $13. I'll have to check next time I stop by a Brand Store.

I was staying in CA if that makes any difference? Although I had thought prices were the same US wide (Excl Tax Differences)

It doesn't. Actually, when was this? I remember back when they opened, they were $6.99 and $12.99, but that was a few years ago. Somehow I never really look at the prices for the cups anymore.

Prices this week at the Mall of America store:

Large cup: $14.99

Small cup: $7.99

If you bring a cup back, they deduct $0.50 from those prices.

Has anyone found restrictions about which boxes they will allow you to buy in bulk form (the 70$ K boxes mentioned earlier in the thread)?

I had heard that they may only allow you to buy certain sizes of bricks at $70 for the box while for other bricks the only option is cups and the wall.

I personally need quite a pile of 1x1's, 1x2's, and 2x2's in a few colors and the bulk boxes sound ideal. (brown, yellow, black, tan)

Thanks in advance.

if they have the piece on the wall they generally carry it in the back and if they have a case of them they will sell it to you for a specific price generally between 65 to 75 dollars depending on the piece

also talk to the store manager becuase they will generally work with you more than against you i know the manager at my store will order what i ask him to as long as i tell him what i need in advance and he will get it, if it is available and an element on their wall

I've never bought one of those boxes. As it is right now, I've still got 4 "free" boxes from before Christmas, so it makes little sense to pay when I can fill those for free.

However, last time I was there, the manager took a real disliking to me. I don't know what I did, I was just standing there filling my box. Of course I was putting pieces together to try to fit as many as possible, but I'm sure that's very common. Before a word was even spoken, I was helping her pick up some pieces that had gone on the floor from her dumping the box into the holder on the PAB wall. At one point I asked if they sold the boxes separately, because I'd heard that some stores don't, and she said "yes."

So as I was going around the wall I asked if she had the 2x4 brown plates they had in a box... she didn't even look, she said "no." Ok, how about those 1x4s? No. What about these? No. Those? No.

Mabye you should ask a guy next time?

Sounds like it was just a bit of a stroppy assistant. Try again some time, It seems these boxes are worth it!

No, it was the manager, but she wasn't there this morning.

So I got a box of 2x4s... 645 for $70, just under $0.11 per piece beats BL in quantity, and that's for brand new, so it's a decent deal.

Thanks Lego Climber. I'll speak to my local store and report back what I find.

I spoke to my local Lego store and they confirmed that if they have a box in stock of what goes on the wall they are willing to sell it for $70.00. They were not able to order specific requests however.

On a side note, the person I spoke to suggested that you can save around $10.00 over the case price for most brick sizes by packing them in large pick a brick cups instead, but you have to have the time. (and tough fingers - I packed a cup of 2x1s by stacking them all and dont think I would have liked doing multiples in one sitting :classic: )

now that would be a pain i'd rather just spend the extra 10 bucks and besides then my manager might get mad at me like the other manager
