Posted July 23, 201014 yr So i decided, to totally redesign the layout for an experimental trial truck. Normal steering was ditched in the favour of skid steering, and the susopension gave way to a longitudaly tilted two sided body. The egaring from both Xl motors is 1:1,67, which amkes truck fast, yet strong. There are few problems to fix though, the turntable pivot point seems to be too high, which makes the truck tilt both sides by heavy steering. I am really interested in your opinions! Added a photo showing the driveline:
July 23, 201014 yr I like the concept. The terrain-following halves of the vehicle should be able to handle anything. The extra-strong Turntable Differential Idea by Zblj should work well.
July 24, 201014 yr Small Technic RC-vehicules are great. Because of the small weight, you can make fast or really strong cars. I'd love to see this one in action.
July 25, 201014 yr Maybe the rechargeable battery keps it a little bit better balanced. You sure love those LA connectors :D I second the motion for a video of the thing in action...
