Great idea for a competition, and here's my attempt... Lowly Worm's Apple Car (Inspired by the Richard Scarry books I loved as a kid.)

Ooh! A contest rules thread! Time to make CopMike's head explode. Does a carrot count as a fruit? Does a chicken leg? Can I carve an apple into lego bricks and use those? What if I don't want to use any fruit at all, can I still enter? Does a carrot count as a fruit?

Okay, ignore all those. I'm gonna try and cook something up for this. Thanks, CopMike!

Oh, free stuff is always nice!

There are some things money can't buy. For everything else there's MasterCard.

Not the best entry, but I don't have many red pieces.

It's a tomato, and a tomato is a fruit, not a vegetable .

I'll see what I can "Whip" up. (yes, yes, I know, fruit salad and smoothie jokes are so cliche)

Sounds really fun to me

I wanted to be more adventurous and do either apple slices or a kiwi, but didn't have enough of the right kind or colour of bricks.

On the question if a tomato is a fruit or vegetable. Well it is both.

In 1893 in the U.S supreme court Mr Justice Gray in an action by Nix v Hedden. He deliberated on whether tomatoes, considered as provisions, are to be classed as vegetables or as fruit within the tariff act of 1883. Vegetables were exempt from the duty. He found they were vegetables and Nix won the case.

Here is my entry Of Justice Gray at the U.S Supreme court with a tomato in hand.
