Great to see the pic now. Those Mandos look great, love the speeder but I'm on the fence about the turret. Jetpacks and flesh heads are a big thumbs up in my book. Definitely a purchase for me.

Remember people that the pics are preliminary and not neccesarily the final designs.

Just consider it before you go ranting off for reasons that are not important

I'm sure for example that the printings on the clones will be much much better and different than yellow sharpish looking overalls.

Thanks for the pics. Personally, I think the BARC is even uglier than the first one, and the Mando turret is a badly executed redo of the Clone Turret from '07. At this point, the Clone BP is a pass for me, and I'll get one Mando BP at the most.

Here's a hint, the people working at LEGO Stores don't have any different info on sets, unless the set is supposed to be in the store within about a month. I knew more about LEGO releases than the people at the official stores.

Those who know just don't say anything because it's confidential info and, honestly, not worth losing our jobs over.

It's a really cool privilege and I'm grateful to have it, but it really stinks not to be able to share it with fellow fans who are just as excited as we are.

Mando's have fleshie heads, I wonder what kind of prints they have, I have an irking feeling that legos gonna cheap out and use clone heads for some strange reason, it seems like something they would do after the whole senate guard fiasco. I like the handheld turret for the mando battlepack though, but the stationary one is cannon fodder, and the bike isn't anything to shake a stick at.

Dammit! I wasn't able to see it... But I was already expecting the BARC speeder to be blocky, it looks that way in the first blurry pics that we saw. It's just a shame that TLG once again passed up the opportunity to finally correct and come up with the right BARC speeder design. Well, I guess it's up to us MOCers/MODers to once again improve this failed BP vehicle.

That's what I think too. This is pretty consistent with the other crappy BP vehicles, so this ain't much of a surprise. To give TLG the benefit of the doubt and not to undermine their designers' skills, I'd think they just did this on purpose to 'encourage' modding skills of the fans, especially the young ones. But however crappy the BARC speeder is, I'm still getting loads of this BP since what I'm after are the ARF troopers.

The BARC speeder looks chubby and blocky, but I like it - I can always mod it. Not so fond of the orange squad tho. The mandos look nice, although I don't like the blue turret.

Why would TLC design a product badly on purpose? I think you guys are either exaggerating or simply have a wrong image of a BARC speeder in your mind. I think you should compare it with some reference pics. BARC speeders are blocky, so TLG did a pretty good job on it, I think. At least it's much better than the one from the old CTT.
