Is the SBD in the Battle for Geonosis a Rocket arm SBD or regular... My eyes are garbage so I can't see through the blurriness to tell Yoda says "GRAAAAA" get it AAAARG in yoda voice It's the rocket arm. Since Cody isn't supposed to wear ARC gear and uses a generic face, you could buy the keychain and use any other clone head when you need a no-helmet pic. Yeah. Actually I have his helmet already I just need the torso. Quote

I agree, the way the arm nearest to the viewer curves it's bound to be a rocket arm, as well as the fact that on the box image in the lower-right hand corner his left arm (for the viewer) curves inward ever so slightly (like regular SBD droid arms do) while the right one is thicker and seems to be straight. I particially agree. It is unlikely to get a Battle for Geonosis and a Battle of Geonosis. But they are rumored to have different product numbers. I hope we get both, even if unlikely. Quote
Walter Kovacs Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 I'm really excited about this Battle for Geonosis set. A cheap way to get Rex is only one of the benefits. I already have Rex from my AT-TE, but he is my son's favorite character, so I can let my son "borrow" my 2nd to play with, and if he manages to lose it, I still have my first Rex. I'd still be furious with my son, mind you, but at least I'd still have Rex. Battle for Geonosis also has Luminara. I'm a sucker for CW era Jedi for some reason, so her inclusion is fantastic in my mind. There are some bad parts to the set, though. A lack of Geonosians is interesting, but not deal-breaking. I still think the BARC is ugly, and now it's in two different sets. But the thing that irks me the most is that ugly technic cannon right in the middle. I'm tired of LEGO including those things in Star Wars sets. They never really weem to fit well into any set they've been included in. And while I haven't looked at the photo in a few days, I seem to remember that the SBD had a rocket arm. Quote

They'd probably wait to release another set with a similar name two or more years after the other is released. This in itself begins to place doubt on Poza's list of rumoured Summer sets. Back on topic, it doesn't seem that the Bounty Hunter Gunship comes with Sugi, as I've seen an CG image of the Gunship and the T6 like we have at the back of instruction manuals, showing off other sets. This picture also shows Anakin instead of Quinlan Vos, so it doesn't seem we'll be getting him and it doesn't show Sugi either, so whether she appears with the set is a mystery until we get a close up picture of the final box art.
