January 17, 201114 yr I hope that Ventress is just preliminary. I saw the episode with the Dathomir Speeder and she's wearing a completely different outfit.
January 17, 201114 yr Is it just me, or does the Sebulba minifig look like the old Gasgano? Hopefully that's just a prelim stand-in, although I can't tell at this resolution.
January 17, 201114 yr Naa'Leth would've been a great fig, with her cool red pointy-hood outfit and an energy bow. But even if I doubt it, it would be still great to see a new Asajj fig on her nightsister outfit in the Dathomiri speeder set, just like what she wore in that particular episode. But based on the current trend of exclusive figs being released to smaller sets (Rex, Cody), we might be just getting the 'normal' Asajj. The Savage fig will clearly be the 'selling point' of this set. Yeah, I agree. I've only just seen her alternate costume, and it does look quite nice, however I think it's more likely that we'll just get the regular one. I missed the LAAT/i, so that's fairly good for me. If there are future sets released featuring that episode, maybe we'll see a new minifig, but for now, I'm happy with the normal one.
January 17, 201114 yr Back to the rumored Hoth Echo Base set: How big and which price do you think it'll be? And which minifigs do you think there'll be included? I'd imagine it to be somewhere between 100 and 150 Euros/US-Dollars. So I think we could get: -injured Luke -medical droid (it was already included in last year's Palpatine's Shuttle - so it would be ununderstandeable if they didn't include it in here, too) -Major Bren Darlin -two Snowtroopers -two Hoth Rebel Troopers -Darth Vader -probe droid -Hoth Han -Hoth Leia -Chewbacca are in total 11 minifigs - like in The Battle of Endor - in which's size I could well imagine this set to be, too. Do you think that they'll put in a Snowspeeder and/or an AT-AT and/or a not before seen Rebel and/or Imperial vehicle? And do you think that they'll include a Tauntaun? January 17, 201114 yr Do you think that they'll put in a Snowspeeder and/or an AT-AT and/or a not before seen Rebel and/or Imperial vehicle? And do you think that they'll include a Tauntaun? Those minifigs would be awesome I think they have to include a Tauntaun, it was a completely new mold and they only used it in one small set; as this set isn't available any more, this set would be the perfect way for FOLs to get more tauntauns and the only way for smaller children who have just begun collecting LEGO; the Tauntaun is such an iconic creature, it will make the set much more attractive. I don't think there will be an AT-AT in the set, the last standalone AT-AT was expensive enough on it's own; I think there will be another Snowspeeder (this time with Luke's markings) and a big building, just like the Endor bunker but bigger and with several rooms. An AT-ST is possible too, but I don't think it will be included as you can barely see it in the movie...

I would prefer they omit both empire and rebel vehicles from the set so we can be guaranteed to get an accurate base and new minifigs. Unless that vehicle is something new, like a rebel transport.

That's 12 if you count the probe. I'd give up the probe and a Snowie since I think you just have to include the droid duo. The most economical way of doing Luke would be a pilot's outfit and give him a double sided face, since someone has to pilot the T-47. And of course Dak would be nice, too. I think it's just you. While it does look a bit like him I really think it looks like Sebulba. Okay. I would to, but doubt they'd do that. Maybe there will be an ion canon included I'd give up the cannon (which would be really tiny anyway) for a better base. Med bay, command center, and hangar at the very least.
January 18, 201114 yr The first post says that the new millennium falcon will contain 1238 pieces. Does someone knows where this information comes from? I missed out on all the previous versions so I'm very interested in this one.

If it's in the first post, it is true The 155 pieces of the Geonosian Starfighter are very disappointing, but I guess two completetly new molds must be expensive Edited January 18, 201114 yr by Emperor

If it's in the first post, it is true The 155 pieces of the Geonosian Starfighter are very disappointing, but I guess two completetly new molds must be expensive I always listen to him otherwise I will be punished I just wondered where this information comes from because I never heard anyone talked about the amount of pieces in these sets. If this is true (and it must be because it's in the first post) this version will contain 243 more pieces than the 4504 version. I think this is a big difference so I'm wondering what Lego has improved. Or are the 243 pieces mainly greebles and is the ship basically the same. But I think we get answers when the Toy Fair arrives in February... Edited January 18, 201114 yr by mcbbvb
January 18, 201114 yr I always listen to him otherwise I will be punished I just wondered where this information comes from because I never heard anyone talked about the amount of pieces in these sets. *snip* I too was wondering wher the information came from. From what I've seen the piece counts are pretty dissapointing. From the dathomir speeder, ewok attack, republic frigate and geonosian speeder (the sets that I am interested in); only the republic frigate and dathomir speeder have reasonable piece count. I am not impressed right now and, if the frigate has another unnesesary escape pod, I will be most displeased.

We have to choose between reasonable part-counts or awesome figs. I personally would prefer a little of both. That escape pod actually is accurate.
January 18, 201114 yr Author The first post says that the new millennium falcon will contain 1238 pieces. Does someone knows where this information comes from? I missed out on all the previous versions so I'm very interested in this one. Don't ask and I wont have to lie We get our info from different sources. Some is posted in this topic - other are sent as pm's or emails and such. We only put in the first post what we regard as 99% sure.

I'd be shocked if we got injured Luke. The one set he really needed to be in has already come and gone. The Hoth base would likely be Battle of Hoth themed, wherein Luke is out fighting and not injured anymore.

January 18, 201114 yr Well this pretty much confirms the rumors off the star wars advent calender I wonder what the price will be and what it will include, hopefully some nice minifigs and some mini's Source. Seems to be 266 pieces> Previous advent calendars have contained 8-10 minifigures. I would love 10 new minifigs but I doubt that. I wonder if this will be OT, PT, CW or a mix? My gut feel is it will be a mix, because that is cheaper. If so, one clone and one droid are a given, probably 1 stormie too, leaving room for 5-7 name characters. Any guesses?
January 18, 201114 yr I saw this a few weeks back, but it seems I may be one of the few to come across it: http://www.amazon.com/Lego-Star-Wars-Save-Galaxy/dp/0545301017/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1295394944&sr=8-1 LEGO Star Wars: Save the Galaxy! appears to feature the art of Greg Hyland and comes out in a few days.
January 19, 201114 yr I am surprised and happy about the piece count for the advent calendar. What date is the Toy Fair again?

I'm guessing at least one of each faction, so B1, Clone Phase 1, Stormie, and Rebel. Then a B2 is an obvious choice, as is the Phase 2 Clone. For name characters, I'd think C-3PO, R2, Luke, and Vader are must-includes, plus Anakin and Obi-Wan from the PT, and that's already 12 and we have't even touched on the 'supporting' main characters.
