BrickArtist Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Is it not just a jetpack? I thought he had one at the Toy Fair. And if by 'printed' you mean that grill pattern, I think that's just on the helmet. Yeah, it was just a regular jetpack. Quote
DarthR2-D2 Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 This may have been mentioned, but this year LEGO is finally moving away from Hoth but it looks like it's going to 2nd Battle of Geonosis... Has anyone else noticed that? Battle For Geonosis, Mace's JSF, BPs, Geonosian starfighter. Anybody else think so or is it just me? Quote
GRogall Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Ok here is are the Links to the new HR images! All pictures are 2500+ pxl. Enjoy! :classic: Quote

The only set is the Bfg, and Geonosian starfighter. that has to do with the second battle... Maces JSF, its just the box-art. The BPs don't have anything to do with it. Quote
Corvus Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Thanks for the HR pics, Grogall! I wonder why TLC didn't add leg printing to Cody- they seem to have started with all the other clones. It would have been a nice little detail. Quote
Blackknight112 Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Is the new gionosian normal (just without wings), or is it the "zombie" ? Quote
Tamamono Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Is the new gionosian normal (just without wings), or is it the "zombie" ? It's a Geonosian drone. There are two types of Geonosians, the wingless drones and the winged warriors/aristocracy. Quote
brickbuilder Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 It's a Geonosian drone. There are two types of Geonosians, the wingless drones and the winged warriors/aristocracy. He means the zombie geonosians from the clone wars "Landing at Point Rain" story arc. No, im pretty sure that they are just regular Geonosian drones. Quote
Future74 Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Thanks for the high-res pictures Grogall, added them to my collection Quote

helicaon Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 from the new "preliminary" advent calendar box, my rudimentary arithmetic makes 8 minifigs + 16 mini models = 24 ... no present on Xmas day then? unless perhaps that's what the tree is for.... Quote

I beg your pardon? The LEGO Advent calendars have always been 24 days of opening. Most of the world celebrates Christmas on the 24th of December. I always feel sorry for you Americans having to wait a full night before opening your presents. Quote

I've only had one lego calendar previously, and as I got it after xmas, my daughters just ripped it open all at once, so I wasn't able to count.... however, OTHER advent calendars usually have a double sized set of doors/windows for the 25th - hence my disappointment apologies for wandering off topic.... KimT Posted February 22, 2011 Author Posted February 22, 2011 Sorry my bad I thought it was mostly the US that had a thing for the 25th of December. Quote
Dr. Steve Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Does anyone know/think we will get an army builder set for Endor? I know we will be getting 7956 Ewok Attack, but will we get a rebel troop builder set? Quote

I know we will be getting 7956 Ewok Attack, but will we get a rebel troop builder set? Currently, there are two Hoth battlepacks. Since Endor is the second major battle in the OT, I think there will be two Endor-Battlepacks sooner or later. Quote
starwarsfanatic Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 I gather there are eight minifigs in the Advent Calendar, but does anybody know what any of them are or how much the calendar will cost? Quote

brickbuilder Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Third major battle in the OT. He means ground battles. Quote

Yeah, basically all of us have thought that since around the announcement of the Hoth BPs. I gather there are eight minifigs in the Advent Calendar, but does anybody know what any of them are or how much the calendar will cost? If the pricing info isn't in the forst post, we don't know. KimT Posted February 22, 2011 Author Posted February 22, 2011 I just learned today that the Advent Calendar will be 249,- Danish Crownes, which usually means around 24.99 USD. Usually, not every time though... One thing's for sure, it'll be pricier than the regular advent calendars. That's license for you. Quote
Delta 38 Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 (edited) That reminds me... we've seen five of the minifigs in the advent calendar, so hopefully the other three are good. I'm hoping for some more clones. Edit: I just learned today that the Advent Calendar will be 249,- Danish Crownes, which usually means around 24.99 USD. Usually, not every time though... I think they're normally $40 or so here, but I have only seen one of the City ones in stores, none of the others. I especially wanted that Castle one... Anyway, I think that was to be expected.
