7194 ? Of course it was UCS - it even says "Ultimate Collector Series" on the box. You can't get any more definitive than that....

Dr. D.

Yes, it is true it was an UCS (Great review by the way Dr. D. It is a very creator-sw set, but in my humble opinion TLC should listen to their loyal fans who are asking for other sets to be re-edited (like Jabba Palace, Cloud City...)

Did it oops, I thought people just called it that. I wouldn't class it as one anyway even if it has UCS on the box.

I know what you mean, but it was designated a UCS set by LEGO, same as the Darth Maul Bust (set 10018) was; I did a photo review of 7194 (there's a link in my sig below) including a picture of the box.

@fff - I'd rather we got a new UCS set than a remake of Yoda, even perhaps a Boba Fett bust !

I kinda doubt this is a set.

Why remake a Yoda sculpture that didn't sell very well?

The Darth Maul bust was a cold case as well.

If TGL wanted to relaunch the sculptures, I think they'd done it a long time ago.

No money there in my opinion and thus no need to produce such sets.

Plus the below 10XXX numbers for exclusives and UCS sets haven't been used for ages.

I do believe this is just a number picked randomly to use for cache storing of an image for Master Builder Events like the one linked previously where people could participate in building this exact Yoda Sculpture.

Sorry, but it's a "NO GO!" from my point of view.

KimT has spoken haha. I personally am not bothered if this is not a set. I passed on the sculptures back then and I would pass on them again now. Much rather would see CC or JP sets as I am sure everyone else would.

I think with the exclusion of Boba Fett from the SSD we could possibly be getting some set with him in it.

The previous yoda sculpture was number 7194, as well as being a UCS set.

Before TLG redid their numbering system.

I agree.

I have to chuckle at those prices. Each one is atleast 30% up on the cost of similar sized SW sets 3-4 years ago - is Eurozone inflation consistently above 5%? What kid would pay so much for a toy when xbox and ps3 games are so much cheaper?

Oh well.

When can we have pictures of the lego sar wars 2011 advent calendar?

Well happy easter! here is a picture of the content for the SW advent calendar!

It's a little larger then we are aloud but it has a lot of white in it!

enjoy! :classic: :classic: :classic:

I would only buy it for Santa Yoda, goodness what a horrible advent pack.....and in the micro/mini's it's the X-wing a winner for me and the doctor is right the Y-wing is the worst ! :hmpf_bad:

Lego must have thrown this together after a few drinks, how did Lucas approve this....after Yoda, then it's Chewie and the black astro-mech which are good.....Mr Trade Fed himself....meh!

Maybe next year I better advent might come our way !

Thanks for the picture

However the same can't be said for the set, wow, what a horrible advent calender, that set is pretty useless to me, I have never liked the minis. Why couldn't they have done little scenes with a speederbike, STAP or mini walker like the promo polybags?? The only good thing is you get a TIE Pilot, R2-Q5 and a Clone Pilot and the others are all fodder. The new fig spot was wasted, I don't need a CW Santa Yoda, at least a regular yoda I would be ok with :hmpf:

Probably will be overpriced too

Looks ok, some good things and some bad in my opinion. Santa Yoda, the mouse droid, the gun holder, the tools holder and some of the minis like X-Wing, Gunship and the Slave 1 are all pretty good. I probably wont pick this up straight away but hope it goes on clearance after Christmas.

T-47, and Lambda, on the other hand...

I couldn't even tell what those two were. Say, that TIE fighter looks familiar...

Thanks for the picture

Lighten up guy, there's more to a LEGO set than minifigures.

Lighten up guy, not everyone here is as obsessed with minifigures as you are.

And not everyone's as obsessed with vehicles as you/we are. I agree with him concerning the minifigs.

What's that brown thing beside Gunray anyways?

Mechno-chair.

From a collector standpoint - there are 3-4 figs in there that trade for about $10 each on BrickLink, so that makes the set worth the price they put on it. From a kid standpoint, these builds look like fun!

Perfect? nope. But not bad either.

That said, I agree with some of the other comments - Santa Yoda seems really odd to me, like that 1970's Star Wars Christmas special that LUCAS notoriously hates.

I think I'll take a pass on that advent calendar. Mini models are completely uninteresting to me, and I don't think the astromech and the Imperial Pilot will justify a purchase. Every other fig I have, except for that cheesy Santa-Yoda.

Although ironically if they had based that last minifig on the Star Wars Holiday Special, it could've turned out a big seller. We seriously need another Wookiee mold.

The minifigures are the only reason to buy this set; it's overpriced and the ships must have been designed by a preschool class. Luckily the minifigures they chose are so common(who needs yet another Chewbacca?), so pointless(who even wants a Nute Gunray?), or so stupid(Santa Yoda? Really?) that I'm not even remotely tempted to buy this.

The advent calendar goodies look nice :classic:

Pity only 1/3 of are minifigures..I'd prefer 1/2 (I'm obsessed with minifigures not Macoco )

Also what is that thing below the X-wing?
