Brickdoctor Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Really? I've seen them in december about every year. Yeah. TRU always has them in late December. Us smart fans just wait 'til January to avoid the markup. Quote
Lord Embo Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 (edited) Yeah. TRU always has them in late December. May we please have confirmation which countries this rule applies to? 'Cos if the UK does, I can probably get and review the Battle of Naboo set or the Battle for Geonosis set, as Christmas is coming so I'm a bit restricted on spending my money on Lego. Flare Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Clarification: Mine haven't either, but there are MOC's I've seen that have that issue. Okay, so those people I know from experience aren't the best about their LEGO in either building or storage, but still. Well the paint on my Yoda's hair has started to wear off... Quote
Lord Embo Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Is anyone planning to get all the winter sets when they arrive in their country? Well, if not, I'm going to. Back on topic, does the Luminara in the Battle for Geonosis have a double-sided head? I ask because on the bottom on the box where it shows all the minifigs, it seems to show her with a face similar to her previious one, but on the box art above it, where she is on the BARC speeder, it seems to show her wearing goggles on her face(printed goggles, that is), similar to the face of the old T6 Skyhopper Pilot's face. I believe it will be a double-sided face, a normal CW face on one side and one with goggles on the other. It would just be plain wrong if they won't make a normal face considering Luminara is one of the highly-anticipated jedi minifigs. Edited October 29, 2010 by KielDaMan Quote
commanderneyo Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 What? I got last this years winter sets in the beginning of December!! And yes some people in France already have the battle of naboo I wonder who? A normal Lego fan or an immature Lego worker According to Brickset. Three people own the battle of Naboo set. Quote

Personally I prefer that they do more PT or CW sets than OT. Quote

Come on TLG we need at east two or three OT sets per wave Quote

Stegoceras Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 I don't recall saying no OT sets I just said more PT and CW than OT I do believe I read that Greg Hyland said there was going to be at least one OT set in the summer wave, which one it is going to be wasn't stated of course. Quote

Yes, if we believe in the rumour list, that's obviously the one. A single OT set in a year seems unlikely, though, so lets hope for that redesigned Cloud City! Quote

commanderneyo Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 (edited) I found this post from Greg On FBTB. fallenangel327 wrote: I wonder if this means Greg can suggest popular FBTB requests (UCS AT-AT for example) and pass them off as his ideas? (This way some unscrupulous individuals would be able to manipulate LEGO Star Wars product lines directly... the idea...) You don't need me to do that. Believe it or now, but LEGO designers are looking at what is said here, and elsewhere on-line...! Greg Hyland EDIT: That means some people at Lego might have seen my ideas. I hope some of them are good enough Edited October 29, 2010 by commanderneyo Quote

Battle of Endor is already for sale in the Lego Shop, so how can that be a summer wave set? Is there another coming? Greg's statement is from recently though, about the same time as that blurry photo he posted. So I may presume that he didn't mean that battle of endor Quote
Bluejet321 Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Hi, i'm new here, do you guys think maybe they will add the republic equivalent of that proton cannon? look HERE for a pic of what i mean.(look down the page) Quote

Everyone here believes that it is just a working title, and will be changed before release. Or at least we hope it will be released. Quote

I'd expect those kind of sets in a few years at the 30 anniversary of RotJ, so not sure if it has been stated somewhere in this post but how likely is that rumored list? where does it hail from? Maybe it will be the battle "for" endor Still, there has been a decent number of endor related sets. Heh, doubt it, unless they really really want to confuse us, I'm sure they'll avoid similar names like crazy at least for follow-up years. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Don't know how TLG plans to keep the Battle of Naboo set a secret any longer; you can see Jar-Jar prominently featured on the latest S@H e-mail announcing the UCS JSF: Quote
