Becuase some people already have the sets and they had Jar Jar in that Bombad Bounty preview any way so they can't be bothered any more

...or perhaps they wanted us to see him first in the short film trailer, then on that S@H pic and be excited that we perhaps were going to get a new Jar Jar? Unfortunately (for TLG) pics were leaked early, and therefore they "can't be bothered" and have "given up"?

I doubt TLG planned for that. This is the first time we have an official 'revealing' of the set that isn't confined to a particular country.

I'm guessing that the reason why Jar Jar is there is simply because most people would just assume it's another minifig specially drawn or something and is not going to be released. I think most people should know by now that isn't the case, though.

Oh no, I'm starting to become paranoid about rubber minifig heads because I didn't realise the paint might come off. I hope to get a Clone Wars Yoda some time, but I don't want the paint coming off. Couldn't they just have a solid plastic head, like the old one? I know they're different moulds entirely, but still.

Did Jar-Jar have a rubber head in the previous versions? The new one will clearly be the regular Lego ABS plastic, it actually looks like the same mold as the old ones, but now with all the lovely detailed prints.

No, it's slightly softer, same materiel as the new Ewoks, I believe.

No, I have the Ewoks, and they're definitely not the same hard ABS as the normal pieces. They've got a matte finish and seem lighter or more flexible. Not as flexible as old Yoda, for sure, but closer to that than to the normal ABS. They come in China bags, too.

the ewok heads, wampa, grievous, medical droid are all the same type of plastic, they are prone to scratching, so thats why they were in separate poly bags, old yoda had a hard head, but the ears were only flimsy and rubbery because it was so thin.

No, because the old Yoda's head also has the matte finish like the China plastic. It's not shiny like the other hard pieces. Believe me, I have three of them. The Tauntaun is the same plastic as the Wampa, too, as far as I know, but I have the former and not the latter.

From the looks of this picture, it's definitely got the standard torso. I'm okay with it since the ARF should match the normal clones.
