I personally like the design of the BPs; I don't think the vehicles are all bad(some were, but that would always happen) and the minifigs are always good to get and useful if you want to build up your own armies. The 2011 BPs are probably the best of them all, the vehicles are good and the minifigs are no longer just normal troopers; now TLG are using specialised troopers for the BPs(they couldn't with the Mando one, but that's understandable, their army consists of normal troopers and Pre Vizla), which is a nice change.

The 2007 battle packs were great too, especially the droid battle pack, but the battle of naboo is better than that and I don't like episode 3 clones, so I agree that these battle packs are the best so far.

OT fans probably disagree, but if the rumors are true, they will get the Endor ste this summer ;)

Also, if they made it more accurate, it would mean less stability, which in turn will make less happy kids. Isn't that the point of Lego anyways? It's just a toy. I remember playing with a Lego car I got, and the wheels broke off, and I got so sad that I cried.

I'm more of an illegal connection kind of guy- if it'll stay together long enough for a photo shoot, it passes. Hanging the model can work wonders here; my UCS V-wing wouldn't last 15 seconds supported by the bottom hull.

I agree, it loosk really cool, despite being not that accurate. If you made an accurate speeder, it would have to be really really small; I'm happy that we'll get more pieces, great for MOC-ing ;)

I don't think it's even called a BARC speeder officially. We have to wait for the official S@H descriptions to figure that out. They'll probably just call it a speeder bike

Yes it is not yet called BARC seeder officially, but it's clearly a BARC speeder based on the overall shape and design, and there's no doubting that. It's just too bulky, understandably due to the parts limitation and lack of available parts needed to get the right accuracy for the BARC. I don't see why TLG will call it with another name.

I've been thinking the same thing; and why are all the pictures slightly blurry? I mean, how hard is it to get some reasonable photos of these that people can tell the detailing from? End of my rant.

Guys its cause they have the confidentiality watermark on them. EB doesnt deeplink images with that watermark because it can get the site in a bit of trouble. No need to get mad just find the link in the topic and save them to your computer! That means you can look at them whenever.

Does ARF trooper have red details on the side of the visor,is visor detachable and does it have upper head details? and which , please answer. Btw,Its my b-day december 1st,i'm going to get some sets : mandalorian BP , clone BP and battle of naboo. Im going to get corporate alliance tank droid,too. I am a new lego star wars collector,so i want a few plain old without any details,just white,in my collection.

Why don't you take a look at all the pictures showing every detail of the figs? Right, there aren't any. So how are we supposed to know such things? We know as mach as you do.

Good luck getting the sets for your birthday, but the sets aren't available on the first of December. They're released in January.

Good luck finding the sets. They aren't out on the first of December, though in the UK they are out a week before Christmas apparently.

usally i am able to find the new sets on boxing day and i am in canada, and boxing day is only 52 days away so it is only 7 and a half weeks away and last year i was able to find them at the toy building zone in waterloo. i asked some one at tru and they said that they will have them in deaember.

Please don't complain. Here in Singapore we usually receive the Winter sets in February, or mid January if we're lucky.

We've known that since we saw the pic. You can see she wears goggles on the front and doesn't on the top, hence a double-sided head.

Dude,im in europe too! But i dont have any real LEGO stores here. I only have some toy store that buys the sets from other countries... And in CZ some people already have it. Thats why i think im going to get it 1st of december. Dialing number to ask them when they are going to get sets,right now.

P.S. Im glad to see people like me collecting legos!And a full forum lol...

Hi Gile, welcome to EB. It's good to hear some sort of confirmation on the pre-Christmas availability of the 2011 sets from a toystore owner like you. I guess it does really make more sense that they release these sets before Christmas since these will make great gifts to the kids (and the young-at-heart ). But isn't this the practice in the US and Europe already? It's understandable for remote countries like ours to get these sets way later, but I would assume big market countries/places get ahold of these sets by December.

But the boxart says otherwise.
