About the stripes as emperor said at least it has stripes in some prelims it didn't have any :classic:

Lets discuss who is going to break into a Walmart warehouse first to find the sets early...

:look:

Or maybe not

... about half the people buying this Clone Trooper BP won't know someone like Stak exists at all.

Jup, I really don't care and actualy hope he's a plain nameles trooper. To bad they didn't release him just in black and white like al the other regular troopers.

Me!

Just kidding

But I think TRU warehouses have these sets first.

What are you on about?

Orange body? Many Rebel pilots have orange suits.

We're not comparing Rebel pilots to Hoth Rebels and ARF troopers to Clone troopers.

Well, Zev does have the different helmet and face print. Usually, generic Rebel Pilots are the Y-wing smileys.

Yes, I know. I was just pointing out to Emperor what we were actually talking about.

It has nothing to do with how Zev differs from other Rebel pilots.

And if you don't like discussions about who the figs are, just don't post.

Ah, okay. Sorry.

But I never said I had anything against discussing who the figs are. :sceptic:

I agree. If those who don't like discussing the small details of an upcoming 2011 set (which is very on-topic), then try contributing something substantial on the table rather than posting useless complaints. When I made my argument regarding the name of the ARF, I was doing so since I don't want for TLG to make a fool of themselves with a glaring mistake if they named the wrong trooper. (Is it ok for you for Cody to be named Rex?). Now that with more analysis by Stegoceras, and my conversation with commanderneyo, I now stand corrected that the ARF is probably Razor. (The low-res pic led me to believe it was two stripes). At least I made my point with some effort and research unlike others who just complain. :hmpf: And I would rather do that than posting wishlists and other off-topic banter.

Zev's the only one. I told you, I see three strips, which according to KDM is a standard ARF.

Actually, a standard ARF should have no stripes on the helmet. The stripes is sort of an identification mark for a certain trooper, just like the other custom helmet paint jobs of a gazillion clones featured in the CW series.

So does anyone have three stripes?

I don't understand all this discussion. An ARF's an ARF- right? Who cares who he is, as long as we get one.

my thoughts exactly, this might matter if it was a ARF battlepack, but its not..

Amen. Who really cares who it is? It's an ARF. It's not like we're getting other ARFs from the Lightning Squadron.

We're trying to prove the guy on Facebook wrong. Honestly, I have no idea how this got to be such a lengthy discussion.

No. A generic ARF should have no stripes. The only named Lightning Squadron ARF troopers is Stak (2 stripes) and Razor (four stripes). The others are nameless ARF troopers.

Alright. Let's just say he's entitled to his own opinion. End of story.

Ah. I got confused when you put three on an unnamed trooper in this pic.

...and they all lived happily ever after. The End.

I care. I want names to be correct. Just like what I said, won't it bother you if they named Cody Rex? Or Luminara Ahsoka?

And FYI, the ARF from the BP are the Ligtning Squadron types, specifically because of the helmet prints.

But the thing is Lego probably won't name the ARF a specific name. They'll just call it an ARF Trooper, unless they pull a Zen Senesca.

I get what you're saying but this is a matter of a stripe..and this makes me wonder..if this trooper is part of lightning squad, why is he with bomb squad troopers and horn? commando?

I really don't mind if they named it as a generic ARF trooper, I actually would like it to be just an ARF trooper. But if the helmet is 2 or 4 stripes, then it should be Stak or Razor, respectively. If it is three stripes, then it's just a generic ARF trooper. So it better be three stripes so there won't be any specific name, problem solved!

Because it's a CW set. Remember, TLG knows what's coming up throughout all of Season 3.

So much for the end of this story...

When did the selection of minifig BPs made any sense? AT-AT driver fighting on the Hoth ground anyone?
