Seeing as both of the midi-scale sets had to be dropped from $40 to $25 it's possible that LEGO decided not to design any more.

I meant Y wing, obviously, because since when has there been an X wing with Anakin. I did read your post, I was just not sure who was right, you or the other poster. Besides, it's more the second Y wing I object to than the pilot.

You are right, because the real name for 7956 is "Endor battle pack" and 7957 is "Geonosis battle pack".

And this, gentlemans, changes everything.

Regarding the sets, that's a pretty good line-up, I bet OT fans are finally relieved they are getting some much-deserved love. The UCS MF looks to be a promising huge set, but is a tad too pricey for me. The other sets that interest me are the Battle for Geonosis and the still-unconfirmed Battle of Malastare. I really hope that Ki-Adi will be part of the Geonosis set, and the yellow Clone Commander is cool, whether it'll be Jet or Bly. The Dathomir speeder will definitely based on an upcoming CW episode. I'll reserve judgement on the other sets once we get pics.

It is highly umlikely we get a large speeder like the Dathomir´s one on a set like 7957, because it is a simple battle pack.

The Dathomir speeder can be more then a rumor, but in another set.

I think sets would sell better, and make more sense and convenience for fans, if TLG made a whole bunch of sets for 1 particular battle, or episode. This way you could recreate a battle in depth. Sorta like what their doing with hoth right now. This set wave honestly seems to have no theme at all, about as random as possible .

It hasn't been confirmed. But due to the South African price of $250, it could be construed that the MF is UCS. But it turns out that South African prices are just really high when compared to the US dollar or UK pound.

I'm sure it'll be a minifig Falcon remake. At least, I hope it is.

That's just people playing off the UCS Lobot joke from a couple months back. Lobot could be in the set if the theme was Cloud City and included a landing pad. It would help justify the supposed price tag of $250. Not very likely though.

Han, Leia, Luke, Chewie, R2, C3PO, Obi-Wan, Lando, Nien Numb, those other two guys on it during the Battle of Endor.

The last affordable one was almost 7 years ago and there's a whole new generation of kids that want one. A new MF is like printing money, I'm surprised they held off as long as they did.

You're referring to Ace and Airen, the two gunners? They were both human so if the ship is ROTJ themed I hope they would be included with Lando and Nien since no new molds would be required.

I wouldn't just want ROTJ version, I'd like to see all 3 combined versions lol. But then it comes down to which version of figs do you want?

Okay, going on from the list on the first page, I have to say that the new wave seems very haphazard. The Ewok set sounds like one of those larger battlepacks, and I may even end up getting two depending on how many Ewoks or Stormtroopers are included (hopefully Scout troopers!). The Geonosian starfighter and Sith Infiltrator are good. The Republic Frigate might be good; anything with the name "Republic" usually is related to Clones.

I'm not sure about the others. I'll need to know what that speeder is before I get interested. Not really interested in the Podracers, but I'll try to get them if I can. The Millennium Falcon, however, is a must-have so long as it falls into the same price category as the Slave 1 ($150 maximum, preferably).
