ADHO15 Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 So the frigate just vanishes from the line up? ...to say I'm suspicious when even the people 'revealing' this stuff change their minds would be an understatement! It hasn't vanished, all the figs have just changed. This new info certainly brings a lot more suspicion than the first lot. Some proof is needed on these sets. They haven't even been mentioned anywhere else. Quote
Darth Jar Jar Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 (edited) Commaderneyo could yo please ask Jordon if the padmes ship will be metallic silver chrome or light bluish gray Edited November 25, 2010 by Darth Jar Jar Quote

Supersonic Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 (edited) Hmm, I'm not sure that this is completely true, as 2 more big ships seem like a bit too many. But if it's true (let's just assume it for now), it's awesome! Captain Zak, Thire, Jek, Rys, Yoda, 2 pilots, that means 6 clones, 4 of which are new and 2 hard to come by. And it really is a Consular - I was very sure it is, but good to know for sure. And a Malevolence? That would be one hell of a set...but extremely big. Can we assume it's UCS or at least some kind of exclusive? About the Naboo cruiser/yacht - I believe it's this one? - it's a very cool ship but atm there's no right color for it. Thanks again commanderneyo! Edited November 25, 2010 by Supersonic Quote
Emperor Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 This new info certainly brings a lot more suspicion than the first lot. Some proof is needed on these sets. They haven't even been mentioned anywhere else. True. Especially the Malovolence, though I think that's because it is probably UCS. Well, for the moment, I believe Jordan, if he is wrong, I won't be that disappointed, if he is right, I can say I always believed in him Quote
Tyleraf Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 (edited) Love the sounds of the sets but how can we trust that commanderneyo is telling the truth? Especially since suddenly the Republic Frigate and its minifigs suddenly dissapeared and was replace by a Consular class with a whole new set of minifigs. Edited November 25, 2010 by Tyleraf Quote

Especially since suddenly the Republic Frigate and its minifigs suddenly dissapeared and was replace by a Consular class with a whole new set of minifigs. Well, we can't trust him at the moment, because right now there is no proof. Jordan promised to give us a picture this week, so this Sunday we'll know for sure wether he is right or not. It makes sense at least, the new clones are quite probable after all the normal ones we got over the last years, Jar Jar in another set is possible too; his fig is so great that putting it in more than 1 set is absolutely logical. The figs of the Malovolence sound a bit like a wish list, but the Death Star also contained more than 20 figs, so as long as it is an UCS, I have no problems assuming it is true (until Sunday, if there is no pic by then, you may ignore all my posts ) The upcoming Clone Battle Pack shows that TLG is very good at making "special" clones, I know many people don't like the Bomb Squads, but at the very least they are very accurate. Supersonic Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 (edited) Don't forget Greg Hyland's picture of a summer 2011 sets, which many - me included - believe to be the Republic Frigate. Some people have spotted clones with red markings on the table - matching the armor of the clones now believed to be in the Frigate. I think at least this part of the new information is very true. The Malevolence might be the replacement for the DS, which has been in stores for quite some time now. Of course it isn't nearly as iconic, but it's still a very big ship that can't be made a set in a smaller scale. Edited November 25, 2010 by Supersonic Quote
Mr Man Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Well there are three options if the rumors turn out to be false 1) Jordan is pulling commanderneo's leg 2) Someone is pulling Jordan's leg 3) Someone is playing a practical joke on us all. Or 4 the sets are still real, and the republic frigate is still a republic frigate no one specified a type, maybe someone just jumped to conclusions. The death star wasn't UCS but had a lot of figs so the Malevolence could still be a systems set. and apart from the Falcon, and the Imp Shuttle there are no figs in any UCS sets (except droids). Darth Jar Jar Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Any one actually thought the malevolence might actually be a play set. Quote
Mr Man Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Any one actually thought the malevolence might actually be a play set. Like the Mon Cal cruser. Hmm well it could be but it would have to be realy big for that amount of figs. Quote
General Magma Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Thanks for the new info, commander neyo! The amount of figures we'll probably be getting sounds to be very promising. But somehow, it seems suspicious. While it might as well be true, the amount of figures Jordan told you there would be included in the sets seems a bit too high, for TLC standards. The clonetroopers (Thire, etc.) and Yoda, are most likely true though. We've seen minifigs like that in Greg's pic. Other than that, I'm disappointed with the lack of OT sets there... Well, there are too many Clone Wars sets, and too much stuff I wanted to see next year that won't be released. So that's probably just me. ~ General Magma Quote
Darth Jar Jar Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Like the Mon Cal cruser. Hmm well it could be but it would have to be realy big for that amount of figs. Exactly It could have a hanger, bridge and those train things and lots off other stuff Quote
commanderneyo Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Like the Mon Cal cruser. Hmm well it could be but it would have to be realy big for that amount of figs. It is here are some details: The Rail Jet Train is in it. You can open up the Hyperdrive to look inside the Ship Quote

Baylego Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Padme's cruiser! That is unbelievable ! A Padme fig sounds awesome. Quote

StoutFiles Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 If the Malevolence is a UCS ship I will be quite disappointed. UCS ships were mainly OT sets because, quite frankly, adults appreciate the OT the most and are willing to spend the big bucks for OT ship displays. I understand the lack of OT sets each here as CW must be where the money is for average-size ships, but to lose a guaranteed OT UCS ship each year would be somewhat devastating. Please TLG, don't forget the group of people who have carried the UCS line. Quote
Emperor Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 The death star wasn't UCS Actually it was, at least officially it is UCS. That's how I suppose the Malovolence will be, fewer figs and fewer pieces but still very big. Does the train take up most the space or is it just a small addition? How big is it anyway (it would be nice if Jordan compared it to some other sets, so we get a rough idea how it looks like)? Quote
commanderneyo Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Remember everyone if you have a question you would like to ask Jordan, Please message it to me as it is easier to get them out of 1 page on my messages then several pages on this topic. Quote
BrickArtist Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 I'm a little confused in what you meant he "mixed up" the figs, it seems odd that the whole crew just changed. After compiling all the rumored sets, a good chunk are massive. Can you ask Jordan if TLG is expanding its line-up due to star-wars thriving? or is it some other reason... Quote

BrickArtist Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Well what I meant is that he was thinking of the wrong characters when he first told me and earlier realized his mistake. I dont really unterstand what you mean, he thought yoda was admiral yularen? The more rumors that come out, the less backing they have. I 100% believe that Jordan is telling you this stuff, but I'm not so sure about him. It might be wise not to start rumors until there is pics. Quote
r4-g9 Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 wait a minute, there is a y-wing, and aat for $250 us, and the melevilence, for $350 us that means that they will be $350+ and $450+ in canada, but isn't there usally only one big $200+ set each year? Quote
Delta 38 Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 First of all Jordan accidentaly mixed up the Republic Frigate: Here is the Truth: Consular class Frigate. And Jordan listed the wrong figures, the Real figures are Captain Zak, Thire, Jek, Rys and Yoda and 2 Clone Pilots, Also 2 Launching Escape Pods. I'm not doing research yet, but they all sound like Clones. Hopefully with different colours! Perhaps this explains the Yoda and Cody visible on that guy's desk, whose name escapes me... Padme's ship sounds interesting. Is it the one from the first movie or is it Clone Wars? Quote
