Here we go...prices talk. :laugh::hmpf_bad:

Anyone have any new pics to share? I really want to get a close up of the tactical droid.

I just noticed by looking at the box art for the Geonosis set, that the speeder bike that Luminara is riding has a Red and White colour combo, the Battle Pack Speeder has a Green and White combo. :look:

If people still want set numbers, have a look at the first post. Some of these sets that commanderneyo has told us about from Jordan are there, and they have set numbers.

CF

Interesting I hadn't noticed that. KDM, as our EB CW screenshot expert, could you comment on the accuracy of Luminara's BARC's alternate color scheme?

I would have preferred anakin and his mother's house in tatoonie much more than the podracers :sceptic:

Great way to get lots of new figures, 'half finished' C3-PO anakin's mother..along with lil anakin, quigon jinn, r2d2 and padme...

But we're not so...

And wow the T6 is cheaper than expected :sweet:

The trouble now is what not to get

And here I am, as always, at your service.

The BARC that Luminara used in the CW series has the standard color scheme with the Republic dark red strips (below). For the record, if my memory serves me right, there has only been two BARC color schemes that were shown in the series, the standard dark red and a blue variant used by Rex in the episode The Deserter. So the green-striped BARC in the Clone BP is something we have not seen before.

For now and until we get some confirmation of the rumors cluttering this topic, I suggest that we stick to discussing the sets - which we've seen numbers for on kiddiwinkz.

Anyone who feel like discussing the Malevolence and other not-numbered-rumor-sets, please don't.

The past 20+ pages are filled with "nothing" - let's keep it "real" and discuss confirmed stuff like the Millenium Falcon and how big it'll be when convering the Rand price into USD and EUR, taking the price difference into consideration and such.

This topic is close to being unreadable and we'll not have it.

It's not a chat, so please think, then think again and then perhaps post something.

Let's give those not around 24 hours a day a chance to keep up with the pace of this thing.

Oh hey, I didn't notice that. Great, now I can have at least one speeder that isn't like the other four I'm planning to get.

It isn't very noticeable, though. Both screenshots show the back of the BARCs as having extra decoration in red/blue, but neither versions of the speeder seen here have that back detail. Stickers might have fixed that, but I'd prefer it if there weren't stickers in this case. As for the fact that green-striped BARCs haven't been seen, could it perhaps be related to the Clone with green markings? Hmm.

I'd like to second that announcement. Anyone remember this?

Perhaps the reason for the lack of detail on the BARC is because LEGO realized it was already too big?

It does seem that they colored the BARC in the Clone BP green to match with the green Clone Commander. But it is not based on any CW episode, as the Horn Company wasn't shown riding BARCs in the lone episode where they appeared.

Like KimT said, I dont think the Rand price will show us the price range of the MF. The set will be cheaper than the converted price. But that doesnt mean it wont be a great set. I think it will be the best system set version of the MF. Just imagine it covered in cheese slopes! Hopefully with the new pieces it make it better proportioned. I am expecting the number of minifigs to probably be 4-5 and Im not expecting anyone special. It is one of the sets that I am most looking forward to along with the podracers. I reckon they will look really cool. New pieces will lift them from their blocky cousins from 1999 and hopefully and new, coloured and moveable Sebulba minifig. I do hope they include an extra to the podracers like Mos Espa Podrace set. That way we can get a new Padme minifig!

Im just going to say one thing about jordon only one day left and if he doesn't show pictures off any off the sets than we can forget about him :classic:

Back on topic Hopefully the ewok attack will include one exclusive minifigure or something like jar jar from the battle off Naboo and the taun taun from echo base :sweet:

I don't know what the prices are (particularly here), but if that's the case, then that's great. If the Halo costs less than Palpatine's shuttle, it will be under $100; sounds quite unlikely, but that would be great.

Anyway, I'm not sure about the Malevolence. I don't have much experience with it and I don't consider it as iconic as other ships. There are a lot of figures, but if the price is $350 (or was it $250?) then it would surely be worth a fortune over here. Either way, I'm not really interested. I'd rather get a Venator or something, and even those are out of my price range.

I mainly want the Ewok Attack set and the frigate. I hope the frigate is affordable and isn't too big (around Slave 1's price is okay). With the amount of new Clones included, it sounds worth it.

You can find the prices on Brickipedia:

Clone BP ------------- 11$

Mandalorian BP ------- 11$

Battle of Naboo ------ 25$

Imperial V-wing ------ 25$

Bounty Hunter's ship - 50$

T-6 Jedi Shuttle ----- 60$

MW's JSF ------------- 40$

Does anyone know the price for Geonosian Battle?

Now, this will probably be prices in Croatia:

Clone BP ------------- 120 HRK (around 22$, maybe more)

Mandalorian BP ------- 120 HRK (around 22$, maybe more)

Battle of Naboo ------ 200 HRK (around 40$)

Imperial V-wing ------ 200 HRK (around 40$)

Bounty Hunter's ship - 400 HRK (around 80$)

T-6 Jedi Shuttle ----- 570 HRK (around 110$)

In Croatia we don't have exclusive sets. :cry_sad:

Hello, BL.

Also, thank you God for BA (shop with the cheapest prices on sets in Croatia).

That will make prices lower than this. yay

And if I have counted it good, for all sets I am planning to buy I will need less than 314$ (1850 HRK).

Yay, I will have 1150 HRK for MC's JSF and Battle of Geonosis and one big order on BL.:classic:

Hi neighbour. Here in Serbia we had the 8092 Luke's Landspeeder, but we don't have it anymore. So does anyone know if there was 8092 in my store , what it was? SE or LE? And do i have a chance to get my beloved Rex and Luminara and proton cannon and etc?

Edit : Clone BP - 2150 RSD - around 22 bucks because 100 dinars is more than a buck

Mandalorian BP - 2150 RSD

Battle of Naboo - 3899 RSD (hopefully not 5500 RSD) - 40 bucks = 25 $ set = 40 $

Imperial Wing - 3899 RSD - not interested in it

BHAG - 7899 RSD - 80 $ = 50$ set for 80$ at me

T-6 Jedi Shuttle - 9650 RSD - 60$ set for 100$

Tell me if i forgot some. Ah yeah :

BFG - 5549 RSD - 30$ set for something around 60$

MW's JSF - Hmm i don't know . It will be around 6000 RSD - 7000 RSD , never seen a 40$ set . I'm getting every set except Imperial Wing . And i don't know maybe i wont get MW's JSF too,but i don't know. I like the STAP's.

EDIT 2 : Hey,you in Croatia! We got the same prices!Only for T-6 we dont.Mine is 9650 RSD which means about 96,5$. I didn't convert . 84 RSD - 1 buck , I cant bother converting the prices. It will be from 100 - 110$ when converted. BA - Brick Architect?

Wow...these rumored sets made it to brickipedia already!

Ewok attack sounds decent...same with the Republic frigate.

And i'm still waiting for pictures from Jordan,Commanderneyo! Don't make excuses! :hmpf_bad:

If anyone mentions Jordan again I'm going to crazy  Unless he has pictures

But anyways, if Battle of Naboo is only $25 instead of $30 then I am very happy, every $5 off helps

and 60$ for T-6 JS.

In Germany we have to pay 30 € for the BoN and 70€ for the Shuttle, but that's no surprise :cry_sad:

1 Euro is worth about 1.3 $, buying the BoN in the US would cost about 19 €, the Shuttle would be 45 €; why do we have to pay so much more in Germany? At least the shuttle's price should have been reduced as well.

The scheme is very accurate, brand new barcs were white and dark red, after battle damage they became a gray color. So i guess that speeder is in its first battle

Yes, I didn't know is it OK to promote the store.

Wait, are you djile** (i think djile84 or something like that) on Kockice forum?

Agreed. I could use $5 to grab a keychain, maybe of one of the minifigs in the T-6 since I'm still not shelling out $60 for that thing.

I knew they were that color in RotS, but I wasn't sure about CW.

So, anyone have a preference in episode for the Falcon? We've already gotten ESB, so that's out. I would like to see RotJ, and the extra money could maybe go towards some mechanics and a starfighter. The first System MFs were $100, so this extra money should be enough to cover at least an A-wing or a TIE. Hopefully. Or it could just cover a bunch of Billund air.

Personally, for a System set, I think there aren't many ways short of adding another craft to improve the last one with that much more money. But who knows? I just hope they don't take a step back like they did with the AT-AT. We still have yet to see one that's more accurate that the 2004 one.

Well, the Midi and the UCS Falcons were much more accurate than the 2004 one, so I think the 2011 one will have a design similar to the Midid/UCS Falcon; therefore it would be much more accurate, too.

The 2004 one wasn't accurate at all, it was far too blocky and not very detailed.

The midi one was just stacked plates, essentially. The UCS one used the angled plate method, which was used but not as well in the last System MF. I'msure they'll find a way to improve the blockiness now that we have a lot of new curved elements.

Posted

Na, the 2004 version was actually pretty good. The 2000 MF was horrible.

I really like the idea of a ROTJ one with Lando, Nien Numb and an A-Wing  but that's not very probable. Big sets tend to cost 150 without the addition of a 20-bucks fighter.

I say it will be more detailed, a bit bigger, and suffer from the usual rise in prices at the moment. Unless it really is a step back from the ESB version (which already sported a very well designed interior) it should be a must-buy for me as I missed the first models.

I'm definitely looking forward to how they'll improve the design now it's had the UCS treatment.

I mean, every time they made a UCS, afterward we got a much improved minifig version of the set. just look at the UCS AT ST and it's little brother from the Endor set, or the second Y-Wing. Even the second X-Wing, actually, though the UCS came at the same time as the first minifig version...
