Even those of us with the old falcon must be looking forward to a new one

Shocking that Lego have lost 6 years in making a new one - such a key set needs a rerelease every 2-3 years or just keep it in continuous production like the x wing

Well, since each set lasts about two years 'on the shelf', I'd be happy with a four year span. Two on the shelf, gone for two, then back again.

The 03 clone wars were awesome! I have one of the seasons on DVD . I wonder, could TLG have made sets from there? I don't remember, are there any other vehicles from there? I do remember all the different colored Eta 2's!

The only ones I can think of are the ones that made it back in the new serie afterward (and about the only TCW sets I bought) : the RGS and the V19 Torrent.

I understand why some folks don't want increased detail and printing, but hey, that's progress. If Lego didn't improve the minifigs.... well, lets just say I still have a few from my childhood with no arms, no legs, and no faces!

Nah, Ep. 6 would still have an interior (hopefully) with more new 'figs.

The RGS was in Episodes 2 and 3 as well.

MF should def be ROTJ themed, no questions asked. It played a huge role with Lando and Numb in it. and we already got 2 falcons from ANH, AND waaayy to many Hoth Hans.

My thoughts on Ewok attack...maybe Paploo again? a black ewok for sure and maybe one of the female ones?

Lastly. I agree with the to much detail Gungans. All the old figs had their downfalls but they're classics. I get tossed up between bad minifigs (Old Greivous) and the super detailed ones (new greivous). Classic vs something that looks more like an action figure than a lego figure.

I agree, if there's one good thing about Cloney figs is the detail in the hair peices.

Yeah same, to me the CW figs are just like..blegh thanks for all the wrinkles, but those Gungans just won't seem to fit in with the others.

TBH I'd be fine with the old Nien Numb face. It seves its purpose. But seeing how Ten Numb didnt wear a helmet...that might require something new.

I agree, if there's one good thing about Cloney figs is the detail in the hair peices.

'Cept for Yoda. His hair was all spiky. Like he used way to much hair gel and then posed to be modeled in CGI and the modeler used a bunch of cones for his hair.

And Dooku. He pointed a hair dryer on high at his face while applying hair spray.

It could be like the Home One set. Nobody has mentioned this possibility yet (that I've seen), but I think it could be a possibility, especially since TLG did just release the Midi scale one last year.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

I personally always use my yellow classic Luke that doesn't look like a CW character or a young Obi-Wan.

Oh please, no. I'd rather have only half the Mon Cal set inside a Home One shell than what we got. The MF is the MF because of it's distinctive shape, and you lose that if you turn it into a playset. Everyone, even those who aren't SW fans, will recognize the MF as the MF if it has an MF exterior.

They could do this if they like making about half the profit off of it. The ship already IS a playset with a removeable roof. There's less than 1% chance they make a playset instead of the actual ship, but it's possible.

Same here. I suppose an exterior would have been a bunch of BPPs.

However, the MF is completely different; it abounds with straight angles, and TLG's already done it five times as a whole ship.

Back on topic: What do people think of the Podracers?

I'm guessing it comes with Sebulba and Anakin and hopefully their pit droids(redesigned) with a little pit lane for the two pods to enter(yes, both pods come in one set) and of course Anakin and Sebulba's Podracers.

My questions are:

1)Will they redesign Sebulba?

2)If they redesign Sebulba, what will it look like?

3)Will it just be the pods and their pilots in this set, or will there be some extra minifigs and an extra part to the build?

4)How will the new pods look compared to the old ones from 1999?

Just wondering about this. What do you think?

Maybe they will make a Mawhonic to watch Ani and Subbulbi race, I mean you cant fit all the Jedi in the shuttle, or all the bounty hunters in the gunship, so maybe a few other podracers will be included with the set.
