7913 Clone Trooper Battle Pack

About time we got some new clones. I'm not too happy about a standard clone being in there (Don't you think we've already had enough?!) but we get an ARF trooper and a bomb squad trooper- awesome. The bomb squad troopers are neat. I wonder if there's a fourth, different trooper. Perhaps there's just going to be two standard clonies...

7914 Mandalorian Battle Pack

Well, I'm glad I didn't buy Slave I, then. I'm assuming that they're going to be the new molds and Death Watch.

7915 Imperial V-Wing Star Fighter

Judging by the price, this'll be pretty small. I really hope they do something different, and not the same design as the Ep. III version.

7929 The Battle Of Naboo

The only thing I expect from this are a few Gungans, droids, and Kadu. The nice thing about aliens in the CW is that they're reusable elsewhere.

Hopefully they can do a good job on it for $80. That ship has a lot of wing surface on it, so the majority of the set will be pieces for the wing. Not much minifig room.

While I'd immensely want something like that, at the same time I feel strongly against that. Look at what happened to the collectable minifigures released this year. They would sell out as soon as they got to shelves (and seeing how it's Star Wars, I'd imagine them to sell twice as fast). I'd rather have inflated battle packs than those.

While I'm on the topic of battle packs, according to the list we'll get "specialised" clones. I wonder what that means? New moulds, or new printing maybe? The word specialised gives me the impression that there may not be any regular clones in the set, and perhaps they would all be completely new.

I do hope there won't be any regular clones in the CT BP, but based on the initial rumors posted by KimT, there will be 2 regular clones + 2 specialised troopers (ARF trooper + bomb squad trooper). It would be great if we'll have 2 other specialised troopers aside from the ARF and bomb squad, but I'm not getting my hopes that high since 4 new troopers is a bit much too ask. I'll be happy to get the current rumored BP but it would be a happy surprise if ever we'll get the 4 specialised troopers.

PS: If ever we'll get the 2 other specialised troopers, I hope it'll be the Cold Assault Trooper and Clone Flame Trooper - both having the same helmet mold (modified snowtrooper helmet) with different prints and weapons.

Okay, we should definitely take this to a different thread now, but just to point out: The season 1 minifigs sold out so quickly because Lego severely underestimated the popularity. They really never expected them to have such mainstream appeal. I'm quite sure seasons 2 and 3 won't suffer from shortages.

It's definitely something I'd love to see as well. Megablocks have already copied the idea of random minifigs but with the Halo liscence attached, which I'd have been extremely interested in, if they weren't megablocks.

Hold on a minute now. Three new Jedi? I know that Vos will be in season 3, but this is nearly impossible to believe. The last time we saw three new figures in a single normal Star Wars set was at the release of the Clone Wars line, where everybody had to be new. This seems beyond the realm of possibility.

Also, as to the Battle Packs, I wondered why, after KimT's initial post, everybody started thinking these would have four figures. The initial post certainly does not list four figures for the packs, and so I think it's pretty certain that LEGO is finally cutting it down to three. Unfortunate, but it seems like something TLG would do.

If this list of figures is correct, even with just three in the Clone battle pack it will still be an awesome set of figures.

A commando in the clone BP....niiiiiicce! However i'm very sorely dissapointed by these sets. First off the bounty hunter transport is $50? I'm just really hatnig the fact that prices are so high. It's like they're trying to alianate a part of there buyers who can't afford a lot of these sets

Legos used to be much more affordable and then of course the economy happened. I used to be able to get like 7-8 decent sized sets (exaggeration) with $200 but now i'm lucky if I get two. GGs starfighter should have been a $40 and so should Cad Bane's speeder. I'm just mad about the lower minifigure count next year and higer prices

It does sound like we will see Vos in season 3, but I find it hard to believe that we will get three new jedi in an eighty dollar set. They have a new clone wars action figure of Vos coming out in the next wave so..... I think he'll be a surprise character in Season 3.

I don't think any BP has ever had 4 different 'figs before. Probably just another standard clone, like in the original Clone BP and the Snowie BP.

Omot / Tomo got the first prelim Toy Story wave 1 set pics and also the first version of the SW sets this year. I guess he is trustworthy enough.

The Jedi shuttle seems possible for me, when one takes the Palpatines office theory. LEGO released the fans choice polls other participants (Calamari Cruiser and Slave One) the last two years. Now we even have 3 of the four Jedi required for the set and Agen Kolar could easily be made as normal fig with Snape hair.

LEGO possibly parts the cost for Seasees new mold on the two sets Shuttle and Office, like they did with Cad Banes hat and neck piece with Banes Speeder and Clone Turbo Tank.

But I am only some guy sitting in a chair and theorizing. Putting so many exclusive figs in a set is unusual, but taking a fig into multiple sets is something that LEGO would do.

I really do hope that is right because that is a dream set right there. Im not to sure about this revised list personally. I thought Stash and Kim said we were getting 4 minifigs in the battle pack still? The battle of Naboo doesnt sound right either, only two droids? I thought they were cheap and easy to make so we can get a few in a set easily.

I highly doubt the 3 figs to a BP rumore by now.

I highly doubt this. Although I'm not really trusting any sourse right now, I trust Jedi News more than this... other site. Three per BP? Bah. As much as I'd love a commando, I doubt these figs. And Vos? We're not even sure if he's confirmed in the series. These seem more like someone's hopes for these sets rather than actual facts. Prelim images please...
