The minifigs are nice, but it's too bad that Tactical Droid will never fit into the seat. It's a shame the it's going to take some modding there. I'm sure I'll end up with it someday, since I have all the others. I don't know whether to be happy or disappointed that we are getting another Consular Class Frigate. I coudln't afford the first one a few years ago, and chances are I won't be able to afford this one either. I can't imagine it's going to be much different from the first version, aside from some obvious cosmetic changes, so I think disappointment is in order, if only because we could have gotten a new set and not just a(nother) re-hash. Hopefully the minifigs included will make it more worthwhile. Quote

Hopefully the minifigs included will make it more worthwhile. Yeah, majority of the design might be the same, and will just be changed to the Republic colors as we've seen in the CW series. I believe this will be a great time for TLG to release a Comm. Bly figure, as I remember the Jedi Crash episode where Bly and Aayla was on a Consular. But then again, the minifigs might be based on the episode Ambush which featured Lt. Thire, Jek, and Rys together with Yoda (as previously mentioned by commanderneyo). He must have overlooked that it was already posted. A frigate that looks like it's build on the base of the Venator set. A crossbreed of the Tantive IV and Venator can't be good. I sense that we'll be seeing loads of prelims shortly - so bear in mind not to upload them to EB's server and please no deeplinking them either as that would shove them in our cache and that's not good at all Quote

Comes with one or more of Yoda's 3 Clones (Thire Rys or Jek) Or TLG being very typical of them throw in Random Figures. Out of the two lists of figures the J Word Guy said a while ago I more back the one he said about Anakin, Yularen and 2 Naval Officers as they are Random Characters. On Another Note in the Recent Lego Star wars 3 Clip Bly appeared so it wouldn't be such a bad time to release him With this set Edited December 23, 2010 by commanderneyo Quote

Commanderneyo, we can't even begun to speculate, last time we got a republic capitol ship, they threw in palpatine, and 2 senate guards We'll just have to wait for those prelims. Quote

Maybe the exclusive fig (there has to be at least one) is Quinlan Vos? That would be no big surprise, but kinda disappointing. Quote

Legoman Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 I don't know why it's such a big deal that the catalogue is 'out' - It's been out for quite a while now, It's jut that most people respect the law enough to abide by it, and not share pictures... But that said, leaked pictures are a inevidability when you think about it, so I won't conplain The frigate looks intresting. It'll be CW though, and like Brickdoctor said, it will have some stupid CW figure that will turn me of the set. I'm looking forward to the rest of the pics now though... Just keep in mind everybody, when pics are eventually released, it won't be all of them. Retailers catalogues only contain the sets that will be openly availible, so it may be missing some sets that we are 'expecting' Quote

Cad Bane Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 It's supposed to be the same ship, just gray and with a bunch of giant guns on the sides. Looking at the tiny picture and comparing it to my Consular (the old red one) the general shape is the same, but the cockpit looks slightly better. Unfortunately, it looks like we're getting another escape pod and they still didn't get the shape of the underside of the front of the ship right. Then again, this is still preliminary so it will hopefully look better as a final product. Quote
