Ceroknight Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Maybe it's just me, as I (gasp!) don't own an Anakin yet, but the hairpiece does look much more flat. I don't want a different outfit for Ventress (though it looks like she lacks the skirt of the previous version, which is kind of good), but I would definitely welcome one for Anakin. I too don't own an Anakin or Obi Wan (clonewars) This is why I also want them in the first outfit, however the new outfits seem more jedi like.. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Ahsoka's having a second, shorter lightsaber in Season 3. I wonder if Lego would pull off a minifig like that - using the shorter collectable minifig beam as her second lightsaber. That would be nice, as I could use the shorter blade for Yoda, but then I'd have to buy Ahsoka to get it. Quote

Fallenangel Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 I just realized something: With the release of the 2-1B med droid in the Theta, what are the chances that TLG will use the mold for only one set and not include a med bay in the Hoth set? I think the existence of the med droid greatly increases the chances that the Hoth set will have a med bay. Say, you're right! And the release of a LEGO tauntaun also increases its chance of being in the new Hoth set as well! Here's something I've noticed: no midi-scale sets this year? I guess LEGO has finally accepted the fact that people don't like tiny UCS sets or paying a lot for them. Too bad; I was really looking forward to a midi-scale Tantive IV or Radiant VII. Season 3 outfits... doesn't sound bad. Ahsoka's new modest outfit certainly deserves new printing. (That is Season 3, right?) Quote

commanderneyo Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Hmmm, maybe the Naboo Fighter is a midi-scale set? No because all Midi sets have "Midi scale whatever" in their name so we still don't know what Midi scale sets are coming out Quote

General Magma Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 (edited) Thank you finally someone agrees with me that it is Commander Wolffe And Anakin Skywalker is the same person as Quinlan Vos. It is still unknown who it is, so please, just wait until the ToyFair pics before making final conclusions. The "markings" you see may just aswell be blurs: it's not unlikely that we're getting Wolffe, but they may replace it with another commander in the final version: the same thing happened to the tactical droid: moved from the clone turbo tank (2010) to Windu's JSF, and Quinlan Vos from the T6 shuttle to the Republic Frigate. It may be Wolffe, yes, but Thire may be more likely since he, Jek/Rys and Yoda were present at the time we had seen the Frigate for the first time. But then again, it could be Bly aswell, because of the "Jedi Crash" episode. ~ General Magma Edited January 3, 2011 by General Magma Quote

Klaus-Dieter Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 (edited) Thank you all very much for the link to those pictures and for the new information! Millenium Falcon I'm quite disappointed that there won't be one single new minifig included in this set. I'll finally judge when having seen the interior - the quantity and quality of the interior will be the criterion whether I'll buy this set or not. Ewok Attack A quite nice set. Only the price is much too high for this set. Plus no Stormtrooper and only two Ewoks is much less than I awaited. But all in all it's a quite nice set with two new Ewoks and finally a tree. Hoth Echo Base I really like it that TLG does expand the Hoth diorama. I have high hopes on this set. Hopefully we'll get minimum the two rooms (which TLG missed in the last version) - control center and medical room - and minimum two new minifigs - injured Luke and Major Bren Darlin. Plus an in size reduced ion cannon would be cool. I wouldn't be surprised if TLG throw in another Snowspeeder, the probe droid, Pilot Luke, his co-pilot, Hoth Leia and Hoth Han. So I could imagine a re-design of the version of 2007 - but with some new minifigs and some decent rooms. What do you think? Does anybody know when the next ToyFair that TLG will be going to is? I can't wait until we see better pictures. Nuremberg toy fair will be in the beginning of February, NY toy fair in the middle of February. Klaus-Dieter Edited January 3, 2011 by Klaus-Dieter Quote

I see you are clearly a man interested in the original triology. Something tells me we won't be able to get away with a playset, these days, without the introduction of a speeder bike of sorts so I think you may be right about the snowspeeder in the Hoth Base. Please? Remember the false information from a few months ago? That also came from Facebook. Besides, they can't prove that it is Wolffe, nor do they have a timemachine, and we can't trust anyone who tells us that he works for LEGO anymore, nowadays. (Well, not when they tell us about upcoming sets. ) I zoomed into the picture, and all I can see is some dark bley spots: most likely just motion blur. And to quote KingDom, ToyFair will take place around mid-February. Hopefully it will be cleared up by then, so we finally know what the troopers really are. ~ General Magma Edited January 3, 2011 by General Magma Quote

If you're sharing pics of the 2011 set 7915 Imperial V-Wing, then I think we'se seen everything already. Either in reviews or through lego.com's cache of files for shop.lego.com Quote
The Legonater Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Except that last time the door split in weird sections. I get the prongs on the doors, but in ESB all the prongs are the same length. Really? I didn't noltice that. mind you, the movie didn't have a whole lot of good shots of that door. Also, I think they might be able to widen it a little, the last one just barely fit a speeder.
