XimenaPaulina Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 i don't know if this has been posted before but i have found a new picture of the may calander and if you buy $75 or more on lego star wars you have a chance to win a limted edition minifigure from star wars, and the new sets might be out than to! it looks like the minifig will be some sort of arf trooper. (this picture is from yellowcastle on brickset is that the same minifig that's on the lego webpage? edit: clearly not! A black scout? I believe it's an ARF (though unconfirmed variant), and there's already an on-going discussion here. Quote

DarthR2-D2 Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 I can't tell. How does the cockpit open on the Naboo fighter? Does it pop off or lift or slide or what? Quote
legolandia Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 And this one in Winter (December, Janurary and February): 7958 Star Wars Advent Calendar Surely the advent calendar will come out in Nov-Dec? Quote
The Legonater Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 I can't tell. How does the cockpit open on the Naboo fighter? Does it pop off or lift or slide or what? Well, I'm 90% sure it can pop off. Quote
Fives Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I sure hope there is no missile at the underside of the new Naboo ship. Quote
Masked Builder Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 It looks like the cockpit list off to me. Quote
Frolando22 Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I sure hope there is no missile at the underside of the new Naboo ship. Looks like we get flick-fires on the cargo sled insted. Double Quote
Fallenangel Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I sure hope there is no missile at the underside of the new Naboo ship. ? But then Ani can't fire the torpedo and accidentally destroy the droid control ship. Besides, those flick-fire missiles have got to go somewhere. Quote
Frolando22 Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 ? But then Ani can't fire the torpedo and accidentally destroy the droid control ship. Besides, those flick-fire missiles have got to go somewhere. They don't have to go somewhere. We've had a few nice sets without them. I really don't mind the spring missiles though. (Except when you bump the set, the missile fires, and blows up the set displayed in front of it ) Quote

(Except when you bump the set, the missile fires, and blows up the set displayed in front of it ) They'll be going somewhere for sure...Ani has to blow up that ship! All I care about though is that you can spin it, because that's a neat trick. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 When specifically do the summer sets come out? June? July? August? All of these come out in June: Even though the release date is June, so far as I know that's for select European countries; in the US (where DarthR2-D2 is), you have to wait 'til August. Quote

(Except when you bump the set, the missile fires, and blows up the set displayed in front of it ) Or when your brother comes along, picks up the set, launches the missile and causes it to disappear into your huge crate of unsorted bricks. Happen to you often Quote
Lord Of The Fries Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 The 7877 Naboo Fighter is not unknown. There is a picture I meant the realese date. Quote
Delta 38 Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I sure hope there is no missile at the underside of the new Naboo ship. It doesn't look as if there are any, but I want missiles underneath personally. Quote

Veganwarrior Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I can't tell. How does the cockpit open on the Naboo fighter? Does it pop off or lift or slide or what? In my opinion it's swinging up. It will probably be this part in transparent: Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 In my opinion it's swinging up. It will probably be this part in transparent: snip It's rather hard to tell from the picture, but swinging up isn't really the correct way it should open. Technically the real cockpit piece should slide forward, though I have doubts that we'll get that. The simple lifting up of the cockpit piece, like in previous versions, will do. Quote
Commander Keller Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 That is probably the cockpit we will be getting. The flick fire missiles have never really bothered me. They add a dorky play feature that even I enjoy from time to time.I just hope the flick mechanism isn't to unwieldy or ugly looking... Quote
Zzz Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Here is a vote for that Grevious' Starfigher cockpit technique. Ingenious masterpiece. But yeah, probably not. Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I'll probably get a little backlash on this one, but the Naboo Fighter was probably my favorite ship design of the entire prequel trilogy. Been awhile since TLG released one, and they didn't really disappoint as far as I can tell. Nice little model right there. Quote
