Fallenangel Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 I think its gonna be Tarkin. But seriously, why are we so excited about which one it is? Even if it is a named officer, they will most likely not make a new face for it. When they made Zev, his face was used for him and the Clone pilots, so it wasn't just for him, and when they did Veers, his face was the same as the BP Rebel troops. If he is Ozzel, they will just use that face that they used for that one rebel in the Hoth BP, only change the moustache from brown to grey. I'm more interested in if they redesign the Imp. Officer's torso, and if there is back printing. Because a face print is somehow more (or less) interesting than a torso print... What happened with this post???? The same thing that happened to your apostrophes in this thread title. Quote

sok117 Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Isn't one from the Naboo Starfighter, and the other from the Podracers? yes that is correct. Different figs warrant two places on the poster, so why wouldn't two different Mando's? Quote
Mr Man Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Yes that is correct. Different figs warrant two places on the poster, so why wouldn't two different Mando's? But the Mandos are identical, whereas the two Anakin's have different prints or heads or something. Quote
Petit-bleu Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 (edited) But the Mandos are identical, whereas the two Anakin's have different prints or heads or something. Yes. As far as we know, these Mandos are not different. Edited May 28, 2011 by Petit-bleu Quote

Brickdoctor Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 No sign of the celebration Han on that figs poster though. I'd guess that's because the 'fig is being released through DK and not just by TLG, so DK gets a say as to when it's revealed. Quote
Darth CJ Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 I'd guess that's because the 'fig is being released through DK and not just by TLG, so DK gets a say as to when it's revealed. Yeah the Han fig is going to be exclusive so tlg will try to keep it a secret. Quote
Ceroknight Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 But the figs have differnt titles? Fight off the clone troopers with the Mandalorian Army!A new force has entered Clone Wars on the side of the Separatists - the Mandalorians! Fives Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 All the Mandos are the exact same, the only reason one has a different title from the others is because of his weapon. They intend in the set for one of the Mandos to carry that big sniper rifle, so they called him a sniper Mando. The fig itself is no different, its just the weapon he has. Its like how on the Clone Walker BP they had that one plain clone with some armour and they called him a commander. He still is just a clone, he just had some different accessories than the other guys. There, that is cleared up... Now let's move on. Quote
Lord Of The Fries Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 They Probably have the same head though, it isn't cost effective to make 2 different Anakin prints. He needs the goggle to fly the N-1 anyway. But I doubt he would have that weird mouth expression (thats on the back of the podracer head) on the Naboo Starfighter head . Quote
Navy Trooper Fenson Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 They Probably have the same head though, it isn't cost effective to make 2 different Anakin prints. He needs the goggle to fly the N-1 anyway. Shouldn´t it be less expensive to make several Anakin heads with his regular expression and then printing the ones for the podracers set again with the goggle/painfull one? But I doubt he would have that weird mouth expression (thats on the back of the podracer head) on the Naboo Starfighter head . The set comes with two brown pilot helmets with grey goggle part attached to. I don´t think Anakin needs two goggles, but the expression could still fit with some of the scenes. The dutch/german shopping site from before already lists the main wave sets as orderable. I bought the Nightspeeder, Infiltrator and Fregatte (when the Nightspeeder was still in stock) and they should arrive in a few days. I am going to make reviews for the first two when they arrive. simonjedi Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Shouldn´t it be less expensive to make several Anakin heads with his regular expression and then printing the ones for the podracers set again with the goggle/painfull one? Not really. You can just leave the Anakin Printing machine running, while you'll have to seperate (for example) 3 N1 Anakin to every 7 Podracer Anakin. *I've pulled this figure out of my head, on the basis they'll make more podracers (Because it's a 'proper set') than the exclusive N1* Who knows. We'll be getting reviews in soon. Quote
Fives Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 The reason there are two Anakins on the poster is because one has hair. The one from the N-1 Has a proper hairpiece, while the one from the podracer only has the helmet. Therefore, TLG considers it a completely different fig. Its like the Mando discrepancy. The only reason there are two on the poster is because of accessories. The face will be the same. Quote
sok117 Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Theres no point disputing this, we will all find out soon enough Quote
Darth CJ Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Theres no point disputing this, we will all find out soon enough Agreed. I'll move the topic on by asking a question. Has anyone found out any more info on the executor? Quote

Fives Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 I was wondering about that rumour of a new Jabba's Palace. Is that still around, or was it just bullocks? Are we getting the Executor instead of it? Quote

sok117 Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 I was wondering about that rumour of a new Jabba's Palace. Is that still around, or was it just bullocks? Are we getting the Executor instead of it? probably definitely. I think what you see minifig wise on that poster, is all were getting for this year. And the Executor kinda diminishes the idea of an UCS ship, (not executor, but you know what I mean) Quote
Mr Man Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 I was wondering about that rumour of a new Jabba's Palace. Is that still around, or was it just bullocks? Are we getting the Executor instead of it? Bullocks as in male cows? (). I think that was just a rumor to keep us on our toes in the slow news days. Still always 2012 to go. Quote
afosl Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 (edited) I don't think this has been asked yet, so... I'm looking at the minifig poster and the R2 unit (probably Artoo) to the left of the red protocol droid appears to have a realistic metallic dome. Am I seeing things correctly or could it be some trick of the light? But it could be possible, seeing as the droid from the Imperial V-Wing is metallic and the original Artoo minifig had metallic printing on the dome in the past. Could the Hoth base contain a new Artoo with a shiny head? edit: I'd also like to see full body printing on the Artoo body cylinder as well. Yeah, I know; Dream on! Edited May 29, 2011 by afosl Quote
The Legonater Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 I was wondering about that rumour of a new Jabba's Palace. Is that still around, or was it just bullocks? Are we getting the Executor instead of it? There was no proof to begin with, so I'm saying no. Same witht he Cloud City. In fact, the UCS Lando was probably hinting at a UCS ESB set- the Executer.
