A UCS B-Wing in 2012 - that people outside the inner core at TLG knows about? :sceptic:

I'll see it before I believe it.

What's the set number, then? How did your friend come by this info? Does he work for TLG or have connections with someone who does?

Probably. Do you think I should start asking who his friend is to be cut from the info? Or should I keep quiet and get some news from time to time? And share it with you all?

KimT: Believe it or not, we will see when some more info surfaces. Take is as a rumor. I just had to share what I learned. Maybe he was joking. Maybe not. I believe he was telling truth.

I'd keep quiet unless you directly know the reliable source and/or seen pictures yourself. We've had a lot of rumors go unfulfilled.

OK, next time I will keep quiet about everything I learn. Sorry about bothering you with it.

I agree a UCS B-wing would be quite AWESOME on a stand fully deployed and I doubt any minifigs which would keep the UCS purist's happy !

But again, we shall wait to see what pops up during the year....like ComicCon !

Nobody's mad...the majority of us are pretty hardcore fans and just don't want to get our hopes up. Rumors are fine if you state how you got the information to confirm you aren't messing with us.

Try to get it from the following code: 245715434045632542422442723ACB3FGDWTREWIGHBSNGBHGG

So how do you crack this code anyway?

I don't know, I'm guessing Ten Nunb and Ackbar would help it sell (especially since the B-wing got very little screen time - which, on second thought, is why I would not get my hopes up about this. But I was wrong about the last UCS set, so who knows?). As previously stated, I don't think the inclusion of minifigures hurts a UCS set so long as they don't affect the design of the set itself.

Archduke II is right about one thing though... it would look really good. The B-wing is a beautiful starship. It would be amazing if the set were this big...

Every 5th letter or number.

Ah - I think I was looking at every third or fourth (since I started in the middle)... though I can't remember the last time I've read a detective novel involving numerical code.

10227 B-wing, eh? Well, the set number certainly hasn't been used before...

There's lego in that pic? (:P)

IF (emphasis on the IF) we're getting a UCS B-wing, I'm suprised, I would expect an A- Wing first.

My best friends's boyfriend's second denish cousin has told me there will be a UCS ETA II Jedi Starfighter. He actually works at lego.

See how easy to make megablocks up? What are we getting for 2012 wave 1 then?

Archduke I agrees it would be awesome. I don't see how good an A-Wing would look in a big scale. An A-Wing will probably sell like the UCS JSF (i.e. not very well).

I certainly wasn't looking at the Lego first :p

Whilst that rendition looks gorgeous I would be very surprised if we got a UCS B-wing. I just don't think it would sell that well

I bet they could get a good sized A-Wing if they wanted...maybe

and also more news about the 2011 summer sets: I got some info that at the toy fair they said the sets will be availible in June (I believe this includes the U.S.)

also as far as a UCS in general umm isnt there already rumores of a cloud city and jabbas palace in the UCS form? wow if all of these are true then they are makeing more USC sets than ugual...wallets beware :vader:

I agree. The A-wing, while only a little more recognizable than the B-wing, did play a crucial role at Endor.

Hmm... but it still wouldn’t sell.

You do realize that the woman in that picture is Gareth’s wife?

To my knowledge, there is no evidence for either of thsoe rumors.

haha well there's not much evidence for this one either...I guess we will just have to wait and see what 2012 brings us but for now I am very very excited about tomorrow and anxious to see if the new summer sets will be availible here in the U.S.

also did anyone notice padme had a two sided head?...whats that all about lol it's only a different face its not like they put anything extra on its just a difference in mouth realy lol  still though I have never been able to get a padme (didn't start colecting till about four or five years ago) but now to finely have the chance is amazeing but still I do wish we could get a CW of her

What the heck are you trying to say? Your writing is so muddled by lack of punctuation and capitalization that it is extremely difficult to understand what you are even saying. The Padme head is exactly the same as the recent Hermione one, which had the same two sides.

sorry I will try to do better :sadnew:

anyway I did not know that cause I only collect the lego star wars...

I'm not so sure about that. I think the JSF, like the N-1 before it, suffered a lot from the fact that many of the AFOLs who like UCS sets are OT fans. A UCS A-wing or B-wing would represent UCS returning to its roots, and I think there are many who would welcome that.

Funny that you say that and then miss seven capitals and two commas.

Sacredvolt, I know it does seem a little bit fussy, but could you please try and improve the structure of your posts. I sometimes have a hard time following and have to re-read your comments.

Please remember that English is not the first language for many people in this forum, and for those people that do us the coutesy of using our language, we should show them enough respect to use our language correctly.

It's not a dig at you, it's happened plenty of times before and will happen again.

Ok guys, I'll talk to Sacredvolt privately to sort this out. Meanwhile, move along and continue the discussion.

No, I get it, and I'm sorry. I did not realize we were not all useing the same language, but really I will try harder :classic:

Now back to the topic, I am a little disappointed the new sets are not available in the U.S., but I can not wait to hear more revues about the new sets

Also, I just found out on Target.com that the mini set (30052 AAT) is available in stores...but also ummm, I have not seen this for myself :sceptic: Hopefuly though it is true, so just keep your eyes open for that set

Thanks for taking that constructively mate. Would never want to offend anyone on this forum.

I don't actually understand while the US doesn't get sets the same time as everyone else. I can understand Germany, Denmark and some of their neighbouring countries seeing them first, but lego is such a huge market. All they're doing is encouraging grey market sales.

And that isn't really in the interests of manufacturers.

Yes, but remember, I said I only saw it online where it had said something...I don't think I would make a special trip, but it might turn out to be something.

Good news is, we now know where the mini AAT will be now  Bad news is...no new LEGO Star Wars for us in the U.S. today! :cry_sad::cry_sad::cry_sad:
