Brickdoctor Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 yeah thats 1 reason i want a super tank later this year for a new luminara and re-designed geonosians + what i dont like is theres some few clone troopers who have a name get into sets!!! we,ve had rex(at-te walker) cody(republic attack gunship) and fox (separatist spider droid so they could put in gree buzz or draa in the super tank But there's no reason for TLG to make a huge set of a vehicle that only appeared once in an episode that aired almost year ago. Brickdoctor Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Who knows it might show up in season three some how.You know the cones wars That should be impossible, since the tanks used in Season 2 were prototyes, they were being produced only at the plant on Geonosis that was destroyed. Considering the fact that the Geonosians had and exclusive agreement with the Trade Federation, and the fact that Neimodians are cowards who generally don't duplicate files to avoid giving rival Neimodians an advantage, their shouldn't be another copy of the schematics. the bounty hunter gunship only appeared in about 3 clips in its episode and it still got in so who knows? But the last one of it wasn't destroyed, and it's probably going to appear in Season 3. Quote
The Legonater Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Frankly I agree with the Doc. The tank was dumb, small, simple and had a terribly cliche name- barely suited for a large set. However, the Halo looks much better, is likely going to be in more than one episode, and has charecters with a large fanbase. Quote

halomaster96 Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Is there a 2011 wave 2 list yet. If there is can someone please post a link? Quote
ThatGuyWithTheBricks Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Is there a 2011 wave 2 list yet. If there is can someone please post a link? Nah. Usually we'll get to see them at Toy Fair. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Nah. Usually we'll get to see them at Toy Fair. We'll get a list before that, and for the 2010 Summer Wave, we saw them at the Canadian(?) Toy Fair before the big one. Quote
Cloney Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Next years sets are great! Im a little disappointed with this year since the clone wars barely have any separitist ships except GG starfighter and the trifighter....my republic sets I have are much more than that of separitists... Battle of Naboo I will be getting at least 3... Quote

Zzz Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 For all the OT/PT collectors who are a bit unsatisfied with the first batch, let me tell you one thing: TLC had a good selection of OT/PT/CW in the past few years and I don't see them changing their tactics, cause they sold all their sets like hell. The more interesting sets (summer wave, limited editions, exclusives) are still to expect and so you can do the maths. (I bet we will see at least half of the following: Cloud City, X-Wing, Falcon, Jedi Temple) Or to cut it short, the first wave is the best that could possibly happen to OT/PT collectors! Quote
The Legonater Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 We'll get a list before that, and for the 2010 Summer Wave, we saw them at the Canadian(?) Toy Fair before the big one. Yeah, but those still had some prelims, like the Ewoks. Quote
ThatGuyWithTheBricks Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 (I bet we will see at least half of the following: Cloud City, X-Wing, Falcon, Jedi Temple) I doubt it. Another X-Wing or Falcon has a very slim chance because they're still selling the last X-Wing and the UCS Falcon was pretty much the set to end all Falcons. Jedi Temple and Cloud City would be nice, but probably won't happen. TLC has only done a few solid building sets (Cloud City, Jabba's Palace, Endor Bunker) and another Cloud City doesn't seem likely. Instead, they'll give more of the same old crap, speeders and droid carriers. Quote

New stuff for the OT/PT which haven't been released yet is the way to go, and not just remake previous of sets. Or to cut it short, the first wave is the best that could possibly happen to OT/PT collectors! This one I agree. If the first 2011 wave is any indication, more OT/PT stuff are to be expected on the rest of the 2011 sets. Edited September 7, 2010 by KielDaMan Quote

I actually wouldn't mind another Falcon, as the recent one was too expensive and the rest were a long time ago...I wish they would make another B-wing or the clone factory in Kanimo... Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 I've said it before, I'll say it again... we got the Tauntaun, the Wampa, even the Dewback-- It's time for a BANTHA RIDERS set! Three Tusken Raiders, The Bantha with plenty of room for their gear, maybe even a Jawa or another moisture vaporator apparatus thrown in for good measure. More new OT sets!! Quote

Just because u and I have half a dozen snowspeeders doesn't mean there aren't new fans who would like a chance to own these sets a new Falcon would be much appreciated, if you don't want it, don't buy it - how does choice hurt anyone? KimT Posted September 7, 2010 Author Posted September 7, 2010 I agree. I've got no issues with remakes of old sets. I'd love a new MF as both the system set versions are a little... well... iffy Bantha set - yes please Though the bothan spies have reported no such set for 2011 - but there's always hope. Quote
