StoutFiles Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 Well, he STARTED OFF 'good'...THEN turned 'evil'...then returned to the 'good' side, so...yeah, sure, why not. Whether Anakin started off good or not is highly debatable. Just remember that while he was officially still "good", he murdered women and children among other things. Quote

Just remember that while he was officially still "good", he murdered women and children among other things. In Episode 1, let's not forget little Ani. He saved Jar Jar from Sebulba and helped Qui-Gon get the parts needed from Watto. Him starting out good is clear. I think he was good up till Ep. 3 when Palpatine started to influence him. Quote
lightningtiger Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 Yes, Ani saves Jar Jar.....that was the plan all a long.....actually I wonder who Skywalker's father really was eh ? (but that's off-topic) So could we see some extra fresh Ep.1 stuff this year to great ready for next year's 3-D release of Ep.1 at ComicCon ? Quote
The Legonater Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 ....Anyways! Have we seen any pictures of the Hoth Base laid out flat instead of bent together? Quote

Vindicare Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 (edited) Well I question that too. He could've been adopted . Also, this Star Wars nerd that I know, says his father was the force , yet I don't think that is possible for a real human to have a baby with the force . PS. I know this is off-topic but please don't hate me . Sorry to further this off topic-ness but, in the Phantom Menace, Shmi tells Qui-Gon just that, there was no father, one day she was pregnant. The Legonator-- Isn't there a picture of the back of the Hoth box that has is folded out? Check a few pages back. Edited July 11, 2011 by Legocrazy81 Quote

Mr Man Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Closest we have got I'm really starting to dislike this set now. Quote
RileyC Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 The Echo Base set is ok. I don't think it looks that bad really. I mean I can see what's wrong with it, but it doesn't really bother me that much. I don't know maybe I have just been desensitized by bad and overpriced Lego Star Wars. But really its got some nice features. Reusing the Battle of Endor bunker play set is a great way for us to actually get a full Echo Base set. It also has a taun taun! Great to add another one into the collection. Luke in a Bacta Tank is super cool. I can just see that minifig becoming quite rare in the future. And also the Red protocol droid will look great next to C3PO. Though the layout is weird and too compact for the set. It probably would've been better to focus on just a couple of areas and get them well done instead of cramming everything in and doing it half-megablocks. It not a main priority set but its definitely not the worst in the wave. Quote
KimT Posted July 13, 2011 Author Posted July 13, 2011 the new Superpacks : 66396 66395 Putting the Droid Carrier in a SuperPack with the Naboo Starfighter is a good call. Not sure about the Clone BP, but I guess it'll do Still a sure "Get!" for me, as I've already got all the SuperPacks so far The Sith Nightspeeder and BattlePacks is more a turn off to me, but I'll still get it though. Thanks for sharing, now let's get some better pics. Quote
sealslip3 Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 the new Superpacks : 66396 66395 Very nice; I'm quite interested in the Naboo Starfighter one. Are the superpacks available in the US anywhere? Quote
Murdoch17 Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 (edited) The news SW sets are out at TRU. Here is a suprise I found: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11798872 AKA: the Hoth Rebel Base 7879. Here are the pics from TRU. It's cost is $94.99 USD, so it should be about $89.99 when it becomes avalible from LEGO Stores. (Sorry about this upload. My FlickR password has been lost, and I'm eventually going to move my pics to MOCPages. Sorry) ==Murdoch17== EDIT: I can't add the box shot, not enough space for the upload in this post. Sorry! We've known about that for a while now. I'm just thankful that the Hoth base isn't TOO overpriced... the Home One was an awful price for its piece count. This TRU exclusive doesn't continue the trend, thank god. Quote

The Home One set had four figs we may never see again (Madine, Mothma, Ackbar, and BoE Lando). Should have had five, the A-wing pilot should have been given a unique face and labeled as Arvel Crynyd. Hoth has only two (Bacta Luke, R-3P0). Home One also resembles something from the movie while Echo Base is a classic space set. I think they're both overpriced but Home One is more valuable IMO. That's a very good point about the minifigs, but there are actually 5 new minifigs in the Hoth set: R-3PO, Bacta Luke, the Medical droid (it's metallic blue), Han (new hood), and Leia (new torso I believe). kermit Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 (edited) Has anyone noticed that when the Hoth Eco Base first appeared on Toys `R US it was listed at $89.99 and now it has been listed at $94.99 ...I was thinking of buying it when I saw the 89 price tag but now that it is 94 I will pass just too much for a set like that. Was that 89 price a mistake or just a Lego price and the 94 the Toys `R Us price as mentioned earlier? and if that is the case why initially put the 89 price and then change it?..........maybe Lego stepped in?
