No. No no NO. God, we've had way too many Hoth sets and I would like them to focus on something different.

Sorry for that I have to completely disagree in this point, ThatGuyWithTheBricks!

It's right that there have been a lot of Hoth sets in the past.

But:

1. Many of these sets were always only re-designs (Snowspeeder, AT-AT, ...).

2. Until TLG did concentrate only on the fight scenes concerning Hoth. But there are some very important locations which haven't been done before: the medical room in which Luke is vetted, a small floor, the round big laser cannon and of course a decent control room.

3. There are some very important characters left which TLG hasn't been released before: the medical droid (which didn't appear in an OT set until now), injured Luke and Major Bren Darlin.

Consequently a decent Hoth Base which mainly concentrates on its interior is really needed. Plus TLG could design a new Hoth Base similar to The Battle of Endor: a big white building with medical room, control room and small hangar, snowspeeder, big round cannon, e-web cannon, Major Bren Darlin, injured Luke, medical droid, Hoth Leia, two Snowtroopers, two Rebel Troopers, Darth Vader and a new Rebel Snowspeeder Pilot. Imo that would be amazing!

And I have to admit that imo a set like this isn't too unrealistic to be awaited for the 2nd half of 2011.

Perhaps some useful and some less useful accessory like in every other advent calendar. E. g. some different types of cannons, some cargo stuff, a little transport vehicle, a table with a screen and a chair (as control room) etc.

I really would like to get a SW advent calendar, too, but only if it comes with a decent number of useful OT minifigs. (If it includes only CW/PT minifigs - no, if it only includes already released main characters - no.)

But a SW advent calendar would surely be minimum 3/2 that expensive than the regular, non-licensed advent calendars.

It sounds unbelievable to me that there'll be a SW advent calendar. On the other hand TLG surprised us in the last years with so many sets we would never have expected - so nearly everything is possible.

if this rumour is true. Then I would guess they would do mini like things. Or something like Darth Vader Tie in the Death Star Playset that can seat minifigs.

City and Castle advent calendars are already on sale in one of my local toy stores. If there was going to be a Star Wars one I'd have expected to see it at the same time, it wouldn't seem to make much sense to start selling some of the advent calendars before the others.

As far as seventh 1H2011 is concerned: and don't believe that we will get it. Maybe coming UCS fighter is also counted here as seventh set?

Limited/Exclusive figure-size sets are to be expected, as every year. UCSes come most of the time around summer/autumn.

Um, yeah, that's where basically all LSW rumors and pictures start. Either there, or Jedi News.

I don't think that's a realistic set for TLG, the issues of building a huge sphere and passing structural QC are too many. The favorite technique among fans for the ion cannon is to use plates and hinges. TLG's only done that once, on the UCS DS2. For the ion cannon, the sphere has no stand holding it up; it has to support itself.

I agree, and besides- to get it accurate the things going to be huge, at least compared to a minifig.

I don't think LEGO is going to release that many more ESB sets, now that the 30th anniversary year is almost over. They'll probably go back to primarily CW, as we've seen in the 2011 pics, and then give us our yearly dose of Snowspeeder, X-wing, and Falcon.

Give me a break

I'm hoping for- yes, at least one OT set, preferably cloud city- but a good amount of PT sets. We haven't seen a lot lately (as long as you don't consider CW PT) and it would be nice to see some Ep. 2 or 3 sets- we haven't seen a whole lot of either.

I'm not so sure if I want PT sets, other than (like everyone else) to get another Padme.

2009-2010 was really good to adult fans- lots of OT collectors stuff and anniversary sets. I guess TLG's just giving more sets to the kids this year, like they did in '08.
