prateek Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 All I can kinda confirm about the big set is that it will be a 10000 series set Quote

The Legonater Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 I dont think there will be cloud city again most likely if we get 2 big sets like this year we will get a big pt set and a big cw set and new minifigures seen as in the january wave. Actually, there's been a lot of speculation on a cloud city set for the past few years. It makes sence. Quote
Masked Builder Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Hey there. We’ll continue to release big star wars sets next year just like this year but that’s all the info I can give you on that Maybe I'll actually get one of them now.... Quote
Brickdoctor Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 One for the AFOL crowd. a recent email exchange with a lego employee gained this snippet of teaser info! Hey there. We’ll continue to release big star wars sets next year just like this year but that’s all the info I can give you on that Things are looking up. Unless of course, it's a big Clone Wars set. Quote
The Legonater Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Things are looking up. Unless of course, it's a big Clone Wars set. Unless that Clone Wars set is Kamino Quote
Jangu Fett Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 A Kamino set would be awesome, if it's CW I can only hope it includes that squid ship from the Season 3 trailer. If it's a Kamino from EP.2, it needs to have a new Jango. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Why we just got one He said UCS, but doesn't this current discussion count as wishlist talk? Quote
lightningtiger Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Why we just got one Sorry, but which one as a UCS ? Anyway, any close ups of the Naboo set with Jar Jar in it ? I'm a conformist! ! Quote
prateek Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 (edited) Sorry for mini-modding, but why do we keep going back to the wish list? We really need some better pics to talk about them instead Edited September 12, 2010 by prateek Quote

Forresto Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 I've been out of the loop on Lego Star wars news for a while, but has the license been officially renewed? That's what i'm taking from the conversation on the ROTJ anniversary sets. Quote
Fallenangel Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Sorry, but which one as a UCS ? I think what he means is we got an ARC-170 this year, so it's unlikely that we'll be getting a UCS of the same ship next year. But seeing as LEGO released their 7657 AT-ST the year after their 10174 UCS rendition you never know for sure. On the other hand, neither the ARC nor the A-wing got a whole lot of screen time in the movies(although the A-wing is fairly significant), so I doubt the possibility for a UCS of either of those. I think a better possibilty is the Executor or AT-AT so many people seem to be wanting. Or a Venator, since a lot of Clone Wars fans seem to want one of those too. Like everyone has already said, it's highly unlikely LEGO will halt the license when they're already making so much money off of it (although if LEGO decides to do more sets like the 8097 Slave I that may change). As long as there's demand for LEGO Star Wars sets it's likely LEGO will keep providing. Quote
Jangu Fett Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 All the first 2001 wave sets look really good, with the exception of the Naboo see.(Just my opinion.) I'm really hoping for a rumor list for the summer sets soon. We seem to be running out of items about the next wave to complain or praise about. I'm really excited about the Mando BP, that's a set I'll get a couple of. I'm hoping to see a good pic of the Clone BP, and Imp. V-Wing. I'll still get both but I want to get a good clean pic or them. Quote

Yeah there has been no new photos/new/materials regarding the 2011 first wave (and thus the recent observed wishful thinking of fans in this topic). I wonder when can we expect some clear photos of these sets? November/December just before 2011? Quote

You're making me giddy now! I just can't wait! Quote
Delta 38 Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 (edited) One for the AFOL crowd. a recent email exchange with a lego employee gained this snippet of teaser info! Hey there. We’ll continue to release big star wars sets next year just like this year but that’s all the info I can give you on that Hmm. That could be good news or bad news, depending on exactly how large "big" is. Hopefully nothing exceeding the $150 range again, like the Slave 1. We seem to be running out of items about the next wave to complain or praise about. Yeah. Contradicting that though, there are still some issues on the Halo and the T6 for me. The Halo still looks like it has an oversized cockpit and a thin body. I doubt that will be fixed this far in, though. Also, with the T6, I hope that both sides of the wing are identical. I recently got Palpatine's Shuttle, and I was disappointed to see that one side of the top wing shows the bottom of the plates while the other shows the studs. There might not have been a better way to make the wing, but I hope that this is fixed somewhat in the T6. And quick edit, this is my 400th post. Just felt like stating that. But that's how the Halo bounty hunter gunship is supposed to look like - an oversized box-type cockpit with a thin body and wings w/ huge thrusters. I think it'll remain that way. Regarding the T-6 shuttle, I get your point regarding the uneven build of the wings, I tried to look at the prelim pics but can't verify if the wings have two different sides. I do hope TLG fixes that issue, as it wouldn't look right if one side has studs and the other has none. Quote

Darth Lion Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 (edited) Those new sets look great, I so want to get my hands on Quinlan Vos and Shaak Ti and all the other figs. Edited September 13, 2010 by Darth Lion Quote
prateek Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 IMO, the T-6 is fine as it is, because if you think about it, in landing mode, only the top is showing, which is the studded side. On the other hand, Palpy's Shuttle's top fin is always visible, regardless of "mode". Quote
