Masked Builder Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Just from the fact that it's printed alone, I'd say that it's a China Plastic piece, but with the same or only slightly different mold. Printing and plastic would be the same as the Ewoks. Agreed. Hopefully they won't be a different color from the originals... Quote

Ritz Brick Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 (edited) So I heard from the guy at the lego store that the imperial pilot from the V-Wing will have the exact same helmet mold and printings as the ARC pilot one except black with silver designs. The torso and legs will be the same as the Tie Defender pilot. This guy was also the guy that told me that TLC made a Lego Venator in 1983 that was never released. sooo.......I don't know how legit his information is either. I think it's pretty much established by now that the V-Wing pilot is obviously a black version of the ARC pilot based on the prelim pics. I know those are just prelims, but they look already final to me and probably won't change in the final version. Edited September 20, 2010 by KielDaMan Quote
Darth Jar Jar Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 We can be best friends As KielDaMan said its pretty much know that the V-Wing pilot's helmet is a black version off the arc pilots helmet Quote
Masked Builder Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 As KielDaMan said its pretty much know that the V-Wing pilot's helmet is a black version off the arc pilots helmet That would be awesome! Quote
Algernon Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Those two new sets actually look pretty sweet. I haven't collected Star Wars in a VERY long time due to the ridiculously inflated prices, but I really hope those two sets are in a reasonable enough range to merit a purchase... they look good. Even if I don't remember seeing them in the movies. Quote
ADHO15 Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 (edited) As KielDaMan said its pretty much know that the V-Wing pilot's helmet is a black version off the arc pilots helmet Of course it is. Just look at the pic. And about the aqua droid debate: the battle droids are the aqua droids as they're pretty much just super battle droids that are designed to be used underwater. The Trident is Asajj Ventress' ship of an unknown type. It is definitely not an aqua droid as it is clearly piloted, not automated. Edited September 20, 2010 by ADHO15 Quote

To finish this debate and prove I am right i will put up this link for season 3 revealed. scroll down to the part where it says and a few more things and it will be there. http://www.starwars.com/fans/events/clone_wars_season_3_revealed/index.html Quote

I said that since we were discussing the possibility of Ventress' ship appearing as a set, it would be the Trident, because that's the name of that specific ship/transport. Either way, 'aquadroid' is a description, not a title, just like I could call a Tri-fighter a 'spacedroid'. And like I said, it could also be a designer's nickname. Since Venators were created for Attack of the Clones, I'd say he's dead wrong. I'm pretty sure you meant Revenge of the Sith. Acclamators were created for AotC. Right? Quote

I wouldn't say it proves you're right. One minute they're 'aquadroids' and the next they're 'Trident Drill ships'. What does that prove? And what were Trident ships in Episode 3? Since Wookieepedia has a page on Aqua Droids as the battle droids and that name is mentioned nowhere on the Trident's page, I'm going to stick by my assumptions. Anyway, this discussion belongs here. I don't think there should be anymore of it here. I'm pretty sure you meant Revenge of the Sith. Acclamators were created for AotC. Right? Right. Quote

One last thing, (and if you want to debate this, PM me since it doesn't have anything to do with this thread, thanks) under theWookieepedia entry for the episode, under paragraph 2 of the Plot Summary, the attack craft are specifically linked to the Trident-type ships, while 'Aqua droids' links to the bipedal units. The article later refers to the transports as 'Trident Units' (Paragraph 3 of Plot Summary, line 4) and the Trident is listed under the list of Vehicle Appearances. Quote
