XimenaPaulina Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 How is the X-Wing a bad set? Maybe he said that because he already 'perfected' the X-Wing. @fallenangel327: I completely understand your point, and I certainly agree with you on TLG's side of playability and stability on sets. But pls. tone down a bit on the sarcasm. There's a less harsh way to get your point across. And let's stop with this off-topic set designing debate before it gets way out of hand. We don't want to feel the wrath of Kim and Stash do we? Quote
Darth Jar Jar Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Now those plain happy smiling fleshie heads certainly won't fit well with the pacifist Death Watch Mandos, so that's highly improbable. Actually im talking about the plain head like in the senate commando magnet pack Quote
Clonie Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 (edited) I wasn't bothered by the lack of BARC Speeder since they practically gave it to us with the original Clone BP. It just needed a few mods; that is, using parts from the mini turret. Though I guess we could use proper ones, I mean for one they're not supposed to be that big compared to a minifig. Darth Jar Jar Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Another triangle? Hope this is fake. Why do you hope its fake Im overjoyed this is what I have been waiting for a Mace Windu Starfighter And it doesn't necessary mean its going to be a Delta-7 it could be a Eta-2 Quote

Yes it would be nice to get windus starfighter but it will probably be cw. I don't care if it is cw as long as it has windus droid r8 a gundark boba fett or castas Quote

Walter Kovacs Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Has Mace ever appeared on-screen in a Starfighter? I can't place one in the films, though I haven't seen all of the CW episodes (or the CW movie, for that matter). I suppose it could be out of a Season 3 episode. But if that's the case, I wouldn't pin my hopes on an Eta-2. Quote
Diaaabo Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 He appeared on one of the last S2 episodes; and he also had a neat purple Eta-2 in the old CW series. Quote

Navy Trooper Fenson Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 The article number is 7868 and the price is supposed to be 39,99€. Strange, the other TCW JSFs were all 26€. It seems like it´s not going to be as bland as one would expect from the past ones and it is probably an exclusive to some storechain as the number differs from the other 11 sets. I have doubts about the set myself, please don´t stone me when it turns out to be false alarm. Quote

I have doubts about the set myself, please don´t stone me when it turns out to be false alarm. But Mace's Delta 7B is the most bland and boring among all JSF designs, just look below - it's all white with some green and purple highlights and that's it - boring as hell. For that steep price it might come with other characters as well, maybe a Gundark like the one that destroyed his astromech in the CW series, to justify the high price. Quote
Diaaabo Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Either a gundark or some enemy, like we had Asohka's JSF with the Vulture droid on that price line. But the fighter is a bit lame indeed Quote

But the fighter is a bit lame indeed Yeah that's probably what it would be, like Ahsoka's JSF with an additional enemy(ies). But as lame as the design might be, it would still be interesting to see if TLG will finally correct the flaws of the previous JSF designs or keep it the same as the previous JSF releases. I actually have Mace's Delta 7-B currently in the works, and the only thing that would interest me with this rumored set are some new charcters or even his astromech (R.I.P. R8-B7 ). Quote

Klaus-Dieter Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 (edited) Sorry if this has already been posted, but there seems to be a Lego Star Wars Ultimate Sticker Collection by DK Books to be released in 2011. Source: Jedinews I heard something about a Mace Windu Starfighter now. It was some other informant now, so the veritableness is disputable. Thank you very much for this information, Navy Trooper Fenson! Too bad. I really hoped for at least one small OT set to be released in the beginning of 2011. It's clear that for the most of the kids now the CW is more relevant than the OT. But nevertheless TLG could release at least one small OT set in the first half of 2011 - come on, TLG, at least only one OT set! If not, this would mean that we've to wait til August (or at least end of July) to get the first OT set for 2011 (even if we get an Exclusive, it surely won't be released before summer) - that would be really bad! prateek Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 A Windu JSF? I jope it's the ETA2 version and not the Delta-7 Quote
Walter Kovacs Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 A Windu JSF? I jope it's the ETA2 version and not the Delta-7 Considering the first CW series was what, 5 years ago? And the Delta-7B was seen just last season, be prepared for disappointment. If this rumor is even true. That being said I'd much rather have an Eta-2. I like the interceptors a lot more than the Delata-7s. Quote
lightningtiger Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Mace's JSF eh ? Yes, I hope it's a CW - my other Mace from the Attack Shuttle has gone missing - my guess my son again ! Is there anyway we can get a confirmation of this set ? I too feel that any OT will be later in the year and it looks like CW sets will be the way next year with most kids know more about CW than PT and even less than OT - except my son he likes PT and OT a lot - he's a good boy.........sometimes ! I'm a conformist! everyone ! Quote
Baylego Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Yes, a Mace Windu starfighter! I have wanted an actual Mace for a while since I only have a light up one. Since it is significantly more expensive than a normal starfighter, I hope it has some nice minifigs like young Boba on his speeder bike with his father's helmet from the Season 2 finale. Quote
