Ceroknight Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 I personally really hope that the mace windu starfighter rumor is true and yes I know he probably has the most boring starfighter with a little bit of purple on it but it would still be a be a good way to get a young boba fett or a cheaper set to get bossk in Edit: Some of you may know this but greedo from a new hope will appear in the next clone wars episode Greedo was already quite young befor Han killed him....so he should be like a kid version Quote
prateek Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Greedo was born in 19 BBY, which means he wasn't even born during the Clone Wars. Quote
Derek Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Greedo was born in 19 BBY, which means he wasn't even born during the Clone Wars. I swear if some people knew half as much about actual world issues as they do obscure Star Wars trivia, we would live in a much smarter world. Quote
prateek Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Just to let you know, I knew none of this stuff about Greedo yesterday. I just went to Wookieepedia to find out Quote
commanderneyo Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 I take it some of you dont't believe that greedo is in next friday's episode well this proves it is him http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gw1v0Y6ijw Quote
lightningtiger Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Er, guys it's his dad.....Greedo the elder. Info from Wookieepedia as follows..........Greedo the Elder was a Rodian of the Tetsu Clan who lived in Mos Espa alongside the young Anakin Skywalker and W. Wald circa 32 BBY. He later became a famous bounty hunter, sired two sons, and became a leader of his clan. He was murdered by his arch rival, Navik the Red. I'm a conformist! evryone ! Quote

It is greedo from a new hope it says so on wookiepedia also I would like to point out George Lucas has changed characters before. Remember sergeant denal in captain Rexs squad. He was supposed to become a commander but lucas changed that so Cad Bane could kill him Quote
lightningtiger Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Look we are getting off topic here, my last two cents on this Greedo bit okay.....Greedo the elder appears in ...... Star Wars: The Clone Wars – "Sphere of Influence" - that is from Wookiee again. Besides that now, it's odd that here is only one PT set while the rest are CW, unless the Jar Jar set is PT as well like the swamp speeder was this year ! I'm a conformist! everyone ! Quote

How many droids do you count on the battle droid carrier I count eight Plus the pilots Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 (edited) How many droids do you count on the battle droid carrier I count eight Plus the pilots I count nine BDs at the prelim pic. = 7 regular BDs + 2 pilot droids (blue). If you try to zoom in the photo, you could see: - 2 reg. BDs + 1 pilot droid on the ground - 1 reg. BD + 1 pilot droid in front of the BD Carrier - and 4 reg. BDs at the racks TOTAL: 9 BDs Edited September 26, 2010 by KielDaMan Quote

-JD- Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 (edited) Hmm but then why would the rack fit eight if there is only seven battle droids..... It's just like the older Imperial BP. The removable back section fits four troops, but it only came with a pilot and three Stormies. Just LEGOs way of operating I guess. Besides, we all have spare BDs from other sets that we use as ground troops. Edited September 26, 2010 by Jammiedodger714 Quote

commanderneyo Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Ok guys don't reply to this because we are already off topic but I have been asking around and one of my mates on mastertoons knows someone who works for star wars and he said it is the greedo that han solo killed Now let's get off the topic of greedo and back to 2011 sets guys Quote
Brickdoctor Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Greedo, son of Greedo the Elder, was a Rodian bounty hunter. Although his father had been an esteemed hunter, and the chief rival of Navik the Red, the younger Greedo had little of his father's prowess and was easily killed by Han Solo in Chalmun's Cantina on Tatooine. Greedo the Elder...Appearances: Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (Deleted scene) Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace junior novel (First appearance) Episode I: Qui-Gon Jinn The Rise and Fall of Darth Vader A Hunter's Fate: Greedo's Tale webstrip Star Wars: The Clone Wars – "Sphere of Influence" Quote
commanderneyo Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Ok maybe I was wrong, But that would not explain on the list of appearances in sphere of influence they list Greedo and not Greedo the elder Quote
KimT Posted September 26, 2010 Author Posted September 26, 2010 How about you guys discuss the Greedo thing in the topic dedicated to the CW Series? I have no trouble speculating wether or not a certain character will become a fig in an upcoming set, but this is getting stupid. Rumors, and pictures please - not off topic yaggin' and yippin' please! "Stay on Target!" Quote

KimT Posted September 26, 2010 Author Posted September 26, 2010 Who says we're not getting a Geonosis set? Quote

The problem is there isn't many more vehicles TLC could make :S Just like a little side question thingy, were there even droid carriers in Ep. 1? Quote

I think so but they were inside the mtt more than likely and are you forgetting the geonosian turrets or trident drill ships they would fit in a set like that. Who says we're not getting a Geonosis set? Yeah it's more than likely we will get a geonosis set as long as we get gree, luminara, jet and geonosian zombies i'm more than happy Quote

The problem is there isn't many more vehicles TLC could make :S Just like a little side question thingy, were there even droid carriers in Ep. 1? Battle of Endor shows that LEGO still accepts the existence of buildings and scenery. Kamino could be corridors and/or landing platforms, a little hall/training room and Geonosis a part of the wall fortress Anakin and Ahsoka were attacking. There were carriers like the one from Battle of Naboo set but only out of focus in the background or in far away crowd shots. Quote
