Wow the mace windu's starfighter is better than i thought! Has anyone thought that 'space skeleton' is the astromech droids nickname?

But Mace isn't really the type to nick name droids...If you know what I mean

The way I see it, Lego are just going with the flow....JSF's with of course a Jedi....these fighters are popping up in most of the series 2 episodes, so why not every months release a new one.

So far minus the UCS, there has only been three since 2007/8.

By the end of the show, I feel most of the popular Jedi will have their own JSF, of course not Yoda !

Keep on.....you know how it ends !

I've got to admit one a month would crush my budget but I would sure love a Kit Fisto star fighter

Well, this is probably going on my list. I still need to get the swamp speeder though :look: , I've already got a mace but the ship looks kind of nice. And the STAP's look cool to, and tac droid is AWESOME!!!

I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have a Saesee Tinn JSF- then we wouldn't have to buy that ugly flying half saucer thing the T-6 to get him.

Like the Starfighter UCS? :tongue::wink:

Stupid lazy brain didn't realize the irony...

Quiet you!

OK, so you may have a point, but hey, It's a UCS, It's a first in it's own way...

By the look of the posts following my last, It seems quite a few people disagree... Intresting, Ah well, Less lego for me to have to buy

A UCS Eta-2 wouldn't be bad- possibly an affordable way to acquire large amounts of that 4-wide astromech dome.

maybe the lego Rep didn't know much about the sets? I mean astromech droid can translate to space skeleton in some way. astro means space and a droid is usually nonbiological or non living. (yeah i know griveous.)

"I am Grievous, and I am not a droid!"

That could be good, But I wouldn't want lego to start overdoing UCS sets either, I like their specialness

"More machine than alive, Grievous is..." - Yoda

If you were to say that, one could question Vader's humanity

'He's more machine now, than man' -Ben/Obi-wan

After -all, Grevious has a human heart, does he not?

Not that any of that actully matters

We always get the few who want a Fighter for every character, But I for one have been noticing that at least in NZ, They aren't actully selling well, At all

Hey! I buy 'em!

I am loving this set personally. Its great to see we are actually getting a tactical droid this time round, unlike in the CTT. The STAPs are a nice addition but I dont see how they go together with the starfighter. The fighter looks nice, not overly detailed or spectacular but a nice safe set.

I cant wait to see what his astromech looks like!

it might be part of an episode or something. it could not be, i have yet to see the spider droid and droid gunship in the animated series. The staps are great since those kinds of staps have not been seen since AT-TE 7675 came out.

They appeared in the Daily Mirror Promo too.

This set is a lot like the despicable 6212 X-wing in that LEGO is releasing virtually the exact same thing with a few cosmetic changes, different minifigures, and new extras. It appears they do not feel the need to improve, or even alter, their current design for the Delta-7B despite the fact that if kids wanted the same ship in different colors they would probably just buy multiples and paint the parts. (Or replace them, or something.) Combine this with my dislike for the ugly Delta-7B "retcon starfighter" in general and you have the reason why I will definitely pass on this.

After -all, Grevious has a human heart, does he not?

You do realize that Grievous was originally a Kaleesh (a reptilian people from Kalee - from the Revenge of the Sith video game :classic: ), and that his faceplate allegedly resembles the masks that his people wear. His "heart" is definitely not human.

Woohoo!

New pic!

Thanks so much for that Emperor!

This is a must for me, I didn't get the RAS so now I'll be able to get Mace, a decent fighter and the new stap(s) and a speedeer And a Tactical droid! What a set.

Yes, we do. He also has Kaleesh lungs, brain, eyes, and guts, and his personal Magnaguards are based on his Kaleesh guards.

Woohoo!

I actually got the RAS, because I wanted the Clone Pilot.

From what I found out on the website Emperor got the link to the pic for Windu's fighter, it sounds like the set will be around $55 US, but that makes it nearly $74 NZ dollars which is insane. My guess is it will be around the Swamp speeders price.

Hope this is okay and not off topic.

Really, I think this set would have been better if it had been Obi-Wan's JSF, scrapped the battle droids on STAPs, and thrown in Mace and his Droid. That would've fit with the episode where Mace and Obi get trapped (minus the tactical Droid, of course, but it's great to get him). Sure, some people might not want another Obi, but I'd take him over Battle Droids. Maybe they could've designed an angrier face for him.

Still, this set offers some good stuff like Mace and the Tactical Droid, and Mace's droid is sure to be awesome once clearer pics come out.

It was Anakin, and not Obi, that was trapped with Mace in the CW episode R2 Come Home. But I certainly agree with you that Obi's red Delta 7B would have been a better set than Mace's JSF. Anyways, the only bright side about this set is the tactical droid and the new astromech.

I'll reply to this over in the SW Pricing topic Where price talk is not 'in the way' so to speak
