Well, the person who told me these said that the minifigure count was innacurate in most cases and that he kinda' had a hard time translating it. he said he discovered said rumours on the 25th of September, 4 days before i joined. so the fact that some of them are ones that i wanted is likely just coincidental. Also, I myself debate the accuraccy of these. If these rumours prove themselves to be true, prepare your wallets. I'm sure they'll be expensive. Hopefully that isn't the case as people aren't made of money anymore like they used to be. If he is wrong, so sue me and him.

Bah, retcons?* :classic:

*(I'm sorry, but going off my incredulity regarding the second list and what you just posted, I am increasingly suspicious of the authenticity of your statement. And the fact that you would mention such factors as difficulty in translation or unreliable figures makes it all the more fisy. Like the others, I'm starting to think you are making an attempt to unnecessarily draw attention to yourself through a fabricated list in the process of trying to piggyback off the other suspicious list.

There is absolutely no way LEGO would release multiple $100+ sets with 20+ minifigures each and expect their primary market - children with working parents' budgets, that is - to even consider buying one of them. That's pretty much an excited 6-year old jumping off the high dive with an umbrella.)

I can tell you like clones a lot

I think the rumours could be true; if the battle packs are battle of naboo style, I don't see what's wrong. And I hope the clones in the Geonosis sets are clone wars ones.

Does anyone think that the geonosis sets might be from the landing at point rain episode? I hope they aren't, but if they are, we'd at least get camo ARF troopers!

The republic frigate could be the episode one cruiser in white, a pelta class frigate, or an Acclamator. I really hope it's the Acclamator because that would go great with the Geonosis sets! The other options are pretty sweet too.

Oops, how obvious was it? Thanks for the links. The last seems the best to me (for completely unobvious reasons), but that would also probably render it as being out of my price range. Still, there's no concrete evidence to back up these claims, so they are likely fake.

As for the new list, supposedly from a Dutch forum, it occurred to me that he might have been reading a wishlist forum. It definitely sounds like there are too many minifigs in there. The ones I'm personally interested in (and that seem the most realistic of them) are the Death Watch Hideout, Toydarian Negotiations and Lars Moisture Farm sets. These seem to be the most realistic of the list. Of course, I'm interested in anything involving clones or stormtroopers, as well as original trilogy sets as I'm rather lacking in those.

One last obvious criticism is the amount of detail there is regarding minifigures in the sets. Normally there would be a few blurry images and some unrecognisable shapes, but here there's way too much detail on minifigs, as well as too many in the first place.

Must admit that I havent been following this thread much lately...

But I do want to comment on the new rumors-

As for the "rumors" Master Windu 7495 provided- they are most certainly fake or at least severely exaggerated as far as figure count goes. I counted a total of 26(!) figures (most of which unique) in your description of the Geonosis set, which is more than the Death Star and something we will never probably ever see in a standard release set.

Another trend I noticed in the list was the high number of figures like Geonosians and Gammorean Guards (between 6-8 etc.) This is somehting else that Lego most likely wouldn't do (except battle droids, but I hardly count those as figures)

However, the original list we saw seems like it could definitely be true. If it is, I am much more interested in it than I am the winter sets, of which I only plan on buying a couple.

People have been saying that TLC never releases more than two BP's a year, however, they have only been producing them for four years, so it wouldn't be a decade old precedent they would be breaking. Remember there was a time where we didn't have any battle packs at all. Battle packs seem to be a huge cash cow for TLC and Lucas, so I wouldn't be surprised to see four in a year.

Aren't those a fraction of the sets you've already posted in the two threads you made about future star wars sets? I guess If you just kept making list upon list you were bound to get them right :hmpf:

Agreed. I'm sorry master windu but you've becoming a tad bit annoying with your recent posts, reviving two-year old topics and almost stating everything in the SW universe as your wishlist (to get credit that you correctly predicted it, right?), and then making up this unbelievable unrealistic rumors?!? Oh brother.. :hmpf: People should examine your previous posts just to see how in-credible this new rumors from you are.

Yeah I would love them to be true, but like that episode 2 set with like 20 mini figures, if true would be expensive as all hell.

While I really hope its true, over what 2 years since TFU was released, next year release a set from it, love it if true, but a bit late, still I would buy both them.

To people who say that the Geonosian and Endor BPs can't exist because they're not related: You're partially right. True, they're in entirely different Trilogies, but not all of the BPs are direct enemies. The Death Watch and the clone army never actually fought each other, yet they're still opposing BPs. True, these are more realistic than Geonosis & Endor, both being in the CW, but it's food for though.

Here's another idea- maybe TLC divides the BPs in two. Two bad guys and two good guys in each BP. Most people buy one of each anyway, so if you buy two, you still have the same number of troops. It would also be very fitting for TLC's current strategy of putting random bad guys/good guys in every set for playability.

The first list is slightly more realistic, but still unlikely. Personally I'm curious to see a better Podracer, so I'm hoping it's true, but I'm still very skeptical.

Second list: Not even going to contemplate it being true. It's my ideal lineup, so it can't possibly be true.

Agreed. It took me a while to realise that there are only two battle packs per year, which disappointed me. The whole Endor/Geonosis thing seems highly unlikely.

Still, this could be an exception. I would like to have at least a pair of scout troopers, even after getting ARFs. The Geonosis stuff might be good if there are clones involved, particularly the current Clone Wars types. I'm not sure what the Republic Frigate is, but it sounds as if it may include clones. Either way, whatever we get, I just hope to see more clones.

Here's hoping for a captain or commander, then.

I actually would like to have the Geonosis set to be Point Rain style and not the AOTC since it'll offer a lot more new possibilities = a prefect way to finally get Ki-Adi and these new specialised clone troopers (Comm. Jet - special ops helmet and the Camo-ARFs Waxer and Boil):

D'oh! I never considered the CW version of Geonosis. Bose troopers, ARFs, and flame-troopers would be amazing.

If Lego decides to release the Pentranaki Arena with 20 minifigures, this is my suggestion: Split it up.

The Arena could be split into 4 sets with five figures and each with a unique play feature or something. If you buy all four, then you get the whole arena.

Unless it's like that it needs to go the UCS category with the Death Star

It's feasible. But I'd expect more of a small set-small set-big set arrangement like they did with Jabba's palace. The could do Reek and Anakin as a $20 set, Acklay and Obi-Wan as a $20 set, and Nexu and Padme would be the big set, including the VIP box seats since Gunray's so obsessed with Padme's death. Include a Geonosian picket and execution tower with each one, throw some BDs into the big set, and you're good to go.

My Toy's r'us Retailer in Peterborough has told me some supposed 2011 August sets that he found on some forum. I can't remember the name and he said it was a Dutch Forum that he translated. He said that this was likely to be true as the dutch get lego sets first in Europe. Anyways, the rumours:

Let's call your bluff.

What Dutch Forum?

Those rumors are way off.

So you know what the summer wave contains? :cry_happy:

No more than the next man, but that list is so obvious and clearly just a figment of someone's imagination.

We see these rambles too often - mostly it's people trying to get 15 minutes of internet fame and we'll have none of that here.

They could at least try to make the list sound plausible instead of just ridiculous.

I'm not sure if this link has been posted yet, but it seems to be the origin of the first list:

To me the list looks rather legit, but take a look at it yourself.

Wait a minute this must be the Czech forum that Poza was refferring to when he stated some of summer sets because this has the sets he mentioned.

Edit: As Poza said the six sets are coming out in june.

No this hasn't been posted before, thanks for sharing Christian!

Ah, so yeah the list might be legit. It's just the way the it was exaggeratedly presented (with all those annoying made-up details master windu-style) that made it look very unrealistic. (Who has those very detailed info 9 months before its release anyway?). Let's hope to have some reliable info soon (and not just some wishful thoughts).

The list now sounds more thinkable.

Also, I thought about the Battlepacks and LEGO doesn´t have to do 15€ BPs, they could also do something like a 27€ set with thing for both sides, like the Echo Base of 2009. A bigger Endor BP also wouldn´t cancel out the forgone conclusion/guess that we get regular Endor BPs in 2012, we got after Echo base regular BPs in 2010, too.

But aside from the Battlepacks where I will prefer to wait until the announcement of 2012 sets the wave sounds a little boring. Geonosian Starfighter and Geonosis BP will probably be awesome but Podracers aren´t my favourite vehicles, even more so the Infiltrator. The frigatte would be Pelta or Consular-class, not very interestingly designed IMO.

With only the 2 (or 3) cheapest sets of the wave on my list it looks like my wallet could tolerate a new and awesome UCS set.

Well, this does look legit, the january sets are legit too, so maybe that's what we'll get.

The other list is so ridiculous I don't even understand why some people bother to discuss it. It's the wish list of someone, there's nothing serious about it.

Just because these sets are in the same lists as the sets we already know about doesn't mean somebody just put them in there as a joke. Why should some Czech guy know about those sets months before everybody else normally does?

I still don't buy it. Unlike the sets if they're real :sweet:

If you read in the 2011 city sets a guy saw pictures off the new harbor theme and they are on the list to so I guess it makes it more reliable :sweet:

EDIT: just checked it was fredrik :classic:

7913 Clone Trooper Battle Pack

7914 Mandalorian Battle Pack

7915 Imperial V-Wing Starfighter

7929 The Battle of Naboo

7930 Bounty Hunter Gunship

7931 T-6 Jedi Shuttle

7956 The Battle of Endor Pack

7957 The Battle of Geonosis Pack

7959 Geonosian Starfighter

7961 Sith infiltrator

7962 Anakin's and Sebulba’s Podracers

7964 Republic Frigate

Hmm having a look at this list I would only buy a few of these as I'm not a big fan of silly sets such as podracers.

The Sith infiltrator, Republic Frigate, The Battle of Naboo, The Battle of Endor, and The Battle of Geonosis Packs are on my list if they turn out to be true.

If these sets do turn out to be true than it looks to be one of the better years (especially if the battle of Endor, and Geonosis packs are about the same size, and price as the battle of Naboo set).

Now we can all start apologising to poza

Well, people wouldn't have doubted the list if not for the exaggerated description of the sets (not by poza). Anyways, thanks for confirming this poza. The set list makes more sense without the aforementioned descriptions. It's good to see that the Endor and Genonosis sets are not actually the normal BPs but the larger Battle of Naboo-style BP, which is a good way to get figs in not-so-expensive sets. I'd seriously would want Ki-Adi to be pat of the Geonosis set.
