-JD- Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 http://www.fbtb.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4718 Thanks for that! Hmm. I guess we won't find out what they are until after Xmas, but it's still exciting! Quote
General Magma Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Damn, I want a time machine now. I really can't wait to see what the actual sets will be... But as I'm mostly an OT fan, only one set would be very disappointing.. Hopefully it will just turn out to be a great year for OT fans, but I doubt so, to be honest.. ~ General Magma Quote

Mr Man Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Hmmm Well if the list is fake then I won't be particularly bothered, as the sets weren't brilliant, however they sound a lot more likely than the second list. I hope the infiltrator is true though, I have the previous two and really like them and Darth Mole. Quote
FettJango Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 (edited) http://www.fbtb.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4718 Probably some guy that wants fifteen minutes of fame. I don't think a box of 2011 SW sets would just show up on your front door. Only if we could find pictures... EDIT: I saw that KimT updated the 10/11 news topic and put a picture of Mace's JSF. When did that pop-up? Edited October 18, 2010 by FettJango Quote
Clone OPatra Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Guys, don't you read? The guy who posted that on FBTB is Greg Hyland, a LEGO cartoonist who also designs preliminary boxes, as he says further down the page. It's quite possible that he could actually get a box of prototypes. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 While this was posted by a LEGO employee (who as has been said is a reliable source) all it reaply does is confirm a couple things we knew and add a couple tidbits: >There will be at least one OT set >One of the sets will have a never-before-made transparent piece, but it won't be a minifig. >There will be new minifigs >There's also a hint dropped about a UCS Lobot.... Quote
Corvus Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 >There's also a hint dropped about a UCS Lobot.... While a UCS minifig doesn't make any sense, a UCS Cloud City could be fantastic. The genosis starfighter is another dull set - look at the '03 version. Doesn't even have a pilot... So....does a Geonosian not count as a pilot to you? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 While a UCS minifig doesn't make any sense, a UCS Cloud City could be fantastic. So....does a Geonosian not count as a pilot to you? You have now become UCS Grievous' most hated enemy. But no, it doesn't make sense. It was a hint. A user had asked disguised questions as to whether we'd get certain sets (will we have to be as fast as a falcon?) and Greg replied with, 'No, but you'll have to UCS Lobot on down to the store' Or something like that. I'm typing off the top of my head. Quote
CMP Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I think the transparent piece might just be the Gungan energy shield. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I think the transparent piece might just be the Gungan energy shield. But isn't this about the summer wave? If not, good guess, why didn't I think of that. Quote

StoutFiles Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 If they make a UCS Cloud City similar to the design of the Death Star set I will probably pee my pants. So far, this has been a huge letdown for the OT collectors. While an Endor battlepack is somewhat needed, it's not enough. Quote
commanderneyo Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 (edited) Okay, thanks for clarifying. It's probable the three sets Greg said arrived on his doorstep might just have been 3 of the january 2011 sets. Edited October 18, 2010 by commanderneyo Quote
ADHO15 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 While a UCS minifig doesn't make any sense, a UCS Cloud City could be fantastic. At first I thought it'd be a bust-style design, which might make sense with him having an 'interesting' head. It'd be strange for it to be such a minor character, though. I think the transparent piece might just be the Gungan energy shield. Good thinking. That could well be it. Quote
