Derek Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 You're all wrong. The figures are obviously Dr. Nuvo Vindi, Lobot, Max Rebo, Yarael Poof and Chewbacca's family (Mallatobuck, Lumpawarrump, and Attichitcuk). And I guess this reveals that next year's S@H exclusive is based on the Holiday Special. Darn. I shouldn't have said that. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Agreed. All this is is a blurred picture of the T-6 and some brown blob. The only lead we have is some small pixelated minifigs. Sorry if I hurt a lot of peoples' imagination As I've said, the brown thing could be the droid carrier. Also remember that Greg's working on storyboards for the commercials, it's not box art or somethint that would be done a year ahead of time. Quote

brickbuilder Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 (edited) I'm not exsactly sure that's red and white... it looks more like a tan to me... it's definatly a ship though. That brown and black blob could be a ship, but it's hard to tell. Well the pelta frigate does have some tan on it, and it may also be the lighting, because i can't think of any tan and red frigate... EDIT: 10th post!! Edited October 20, 2010 by brickbuilder Quote
Ceroknight Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 It looks like it may be Geonosian to me. To be honest, I think that he's teasing us and they're just blurred a pic of the Tantive V and Count Dooku's solar sailor. I agree, from what we know, that might not even be lego! Quote
brickbuilder Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 (edited) Then why would he blur it? Oh yeah, to tease us some more! But seriously I doubt it isn't lego, since he's working on a comic with it. Edited October 20, 2010 by brickbuilder Quote
FettJango Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 (edited) Does anyone have a program that uncovers the blur? If there is such thing Edited October 20, 2010 by FettJango Quote
brickbuilder Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 I did my best The red and white one is looking like a consular class frigate after all. I don't know about the black and brown blob; I would say geonosian fighter, but where is the black coming from? Quote

CMP Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Brown thing is definetely the droid carrier. It even has the shape. Can't explain its size though... Quote
brickbuilder Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Brown thing is definetely the droid carrier. It even has the shape. Can't explain its size though... but the guy said he's doing comics on two summer sets. Quote

I don't know about the black and brown blob; I would say geonosian fighter, but where is the black coming from? Geonosian fighter sounds right. The two brown points look like the tell-tale prongs of the fighter to me. I'm guessing the black is shadow...? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 I think that pic got more blurry... If it's a Geonosian fighter that'd be awesome. If it's Chewie's family.... well it is time we got a new Wookiee hairstyle. And if it's a Pelta frigate, the tan could really be yellow. There's also the fact that the photo has very low lighting, so any white bits could appear yellowed. Quote
StoutFiles Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 He just commented that they don't do storyboards for UCS sets because of playability so it's unlikely he received a UCS Cloud City. Then again, the UCS Death Star is the most playable set there is. But still, very unlikely. Quote

Skafte Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 The DS playset is not a UCS. Yes, please, let's go into that discussion again, it is so much fun! LEGO puts it on the UCS page on the website, but AFOLs don't consider it a UCS. On topic: I feel a bit sorry for Greg Hyland, who just wanted to tease FBTB and probabli didn't realize what would happen over here... He even wrote in his pic post "Unless you have one of those movie-computers where you say "Zoom in. Enhance" and it'll show you. Then I'm screwed." Quote
Zzz Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 but the guy said he's doing comics on two summer sets. He did not. Also, he is doing storyboards for TV commercials. As I posted several pages before, it is pretty obvious he has the droid carrier and Jedi shuttle sitting on his shelf. The only interesting fact is that he teases us with having seen a prototype for one OT 2011 set back in April or May, that he refers to as a "UCS Lobot". That's all. So let's not make up rumours based on wishful thinking. Quote
Stegoceras Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Heh, I'd overlook these pictures if I didn't know they were supposed to be new star wars Lego's. to be honest I don't really think there is that much to make up out of it. Big blur seems to be a ship of some sort, with a smaller front and a larger back (tantive IV-like) Small brown blur reminds me of the shape of Bossk's ship the Hound's tooth. As for the figures, The red one looks like a imperial guard and what looks like two clonetroopers(or stormtroopers), beyond that I can't imagine. Of course in the end it might turn out to be Lego's new line; Blurry Lego, squint your eyes and see the legoblocks turn into your favorite ship, limitless new options and adventures await you. Quote
Supersonic Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Great job brickbuilder! That really raises my hopes that we are getting a consular frigate. I just don't see how a medical frigate would be an interesting set - buy City sets if you want to play hospital The republic cruiser from 2007 is just a diplomatic ship, while the frigate is a warship. And its colors differ a lot from the cruiser's dark red. I still believe in a red clone from Ambush and Yoda. However, as hard as I tried I couldn't see something that remotely looks like a Jawa to me. And Owen's homestead? Please, that would be the lamest set possible (though maybe a nice brick collection). LSW is focussed on action. So if we get a homestead it will be covered with flick missiles. Quote

Quick, into the moisture farm command center! The moisture vaporators open up to reveal hidden flick fire missiles to take down the bad guys. With the Lars Homestead, you're ready for any battle. Cones with battle damaged Owen and Beru Lars! Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Now why would a moisture farm being doing with a missile defence system ? Sandpeople.....maybe or crazied SW fans ? All I could see in those fuzzy images was lots of brown in one of them at least, I feel we must be like Jedi and have some patience....images will appear when they do ! Mmmm, Wait......patience you must have ! Quote

I don't know about the black and brown blob; I would say geonosian fighter, but where is the black coming from? Looks you did okay there. Can't wit to find out what they are! Nah. I both sincerely doubt and earnestly hope that it'll be an Acclamator. Either one I would get. Quote

The pelta appeared in ambush which might be why he has a Yoda and Red Clone from ambush on the desk. Another set I can make out is a Geonosis set whether or not it is the Geonosian starfighter or battle of Geonosis. Quote

Maybe you're getting confused with the names, but the Pelta was definitely not in Ambush, that was a Consular. And the Pelta's shape looks nothing like the blurred thing in the picture. This should show it - the Pelta has a bridge and is rather longish. BTW, the second blur is definitely a Geonosian fighter to me. Just look at it closely - the lower "wing" is covered by shadow, thus looking black. Quote
