Superkalle Posted July 26, 2010 Author Posted July 26, 2010 You forgot LEGOWorld Zwolle each year in autumn: October, 19 - 28, 2010 What do you mean - it's right there (but I'll add "Zwolle" for added clarity). Quote
JopieK Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 What do you mean - it's right there (but I'll add "Zwolle" for added clarity). Ooops, overlooked that one :p Quote
tedbeard Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Don't forget the Google Calendar for LEGO Conventions - one of the several global calendars set up for LUGs to use to share including: Fan Events, Contests, Displays. Quote
ILikePi Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 (edited) Toy Fair (New York, USA) takes place in February. That's when we see most of the Summer lineup of sets! Bricks by the Bay 2010 (California, USA) happened in April. No one knows when next year's will be held, but it should be on the same month! Comic-Con (California, USA) took place this month, June. Usually there are a handful of exclusive, limited edition sets for sale there, as well as one Star Wars product being revealed (this year, the UCS Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter). LEGOLAND California's Star Wars Days (California, USA) happen in August. Can't wait to see what's in store in person this year! P.S. According to this article, "calender is part of the finishing process or device on making clothes or paper to give the material an even or glossy look." Edited July 26, 2010 by ILikePi Quote
Superkalle Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 Thanks guys! I'll add these! Don't forget the Google Calendar for LEGO Conventions - one of the several global calendars set up for LUGs to use to share Yeah, I had a look at them, but most of them are incomplete (you have to jump between them to get the full picture). I wanted to make a complete Quote
Ricecracker Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 (edited) August (starting 2011) - BricksNorth. Canada's premiere LEGO Convention. I'll post a link up once the website is unveiled, which should be fairly soon. Edited July 27, 2010 by Ricecracker Quote

Comic Con is actually in July, not June. Quote

OneSnowTrooper Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Why don't you create a (new) IPboard calender for this ? Quote

Superkalle Posted August 4, 2010 Author Posted August 4, 2010 Why don't you create a (new) IPboard calender for this ? Well, there is allready a calender here at EB, and I think it's perfect to use for managing the exact dates. However, the purpose of this calender is to be a sort of reference. I've found that IP-board style calenders, Google calenders etc tend to miss out on many events and they don't give you an nice yearly overview. Hi this year there are several shows sponsored by lego called Lego kidsfests. several lugs will be displaying their mocs. as is the public is welcome to display Mocs as well. Peace Ginger Thanks for the tip! I'll have a look at it. Quote

Ogre Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Have to admit, I am SUPER-STOKED about a LEGO event here in T.O.! No borders to cross, no two-plus-hour jaunt out to 'hotel row' by the airport. Thanks for listing all of these events. It's nice to have a rough idea of what happens where and when. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 LEGOLAND California's Star Wars Days (California, USA) happen in August. Can't wait to see what's in store in person this year! Do add that. I just got back from the 2010 event, wherein I picked up a poster of all the 2010 minifigs and a pair of White Boba Fetts. The only thing is that the date tends to vary. The past three events were in September, then June, and now August. Quote

Is it always SW theme etc. Thanks! Quote
