Sandy Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 I have to say, the quality of the animation is superb, and there were some truly disturbing visual scenes there, but the story itself... It was really childish, I have to say. And I don't mean that as a story meant for kids, of course, but as a story written by a young person, trying to be all mature. It's the illogical things that give that impression: for example, why would the conductor of all people come search the house of a man who left a few red dribbles on the floor of a train? And why was the cop waving his gun before he even asked any questions? And why the conductor, who clearly sees the severed head in the fridge, asks "what is in the fridge?"? And ultimately, what was the point of the story? I get the cool scenes that were obviously inspired by splatter-movies, but all in all, there was no sense to the story - no beginning, no end. It was a snippet from a life of a serial murderer, and absolutely nothing else. So if you want my opinion, this was a good-looking but very shallow animation. Quote
Captain Genaro Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 That person is a little disturbing. The whole ending part seemed out of place and hard to follow. Now I don't watch too many of these horror movies so mabey this is norm but a bit of an introduction, explaning the whole ending would be nice. I though that it was a dream of some sort, then I sort of realised that he killed those people. why whould the conductor of all people come search the house of a man who left a few red dribbles on the floor of a train? Well, mabey he had nothing better to do with his day. asks " what is in the fridge?" I have a similar minifig and know for a fact that he is far sighted so he can't see his own two feet very well. why was the cop waving his gun before he even asked any questions? The bigger question is why does he weild a gun on city streets but not in the basement of a serial killer? Quote

It was supposed to be an avant-garde film. It's like listening to Revolution 9, it makes no sense. Quote
