sam89 Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 I assumed it must be for the scariness factor ;-) Quote
Vader Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Hmmmmm i for one will have to agree with sam on last nights ep, for me it just felt like a wildly thrown together ep. Worst of the second series IMO, oh well next weeks ep looks good from the reviews. Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 I really enjoyed it. It was better then, say, the Hostpital one. And the Wolf one. I look forward to to the Quarren Clones next week. Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Sorry to DP, but this was one awesome episode. Ok, so I didn't like the Science woman. But the story was intruiging, many mysteries unexplained. And the end truly left me waiting for next week. The security guy is stupid too, if I'd been in his position I'd have shot something instead of walking backwards. All in all, can't wait for next week which was spoiled to a certain degree by the 'next week' bit at the end. Quote
Zane Posted June 4, 2006 Author Posted June 4, 2006 Only thing I didn't like was Rose trying to be like the Doctor, making rubbish jokes all the time. But the 'We must feed' at the start was hilarious. Quote
sam89 Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Yeah, last night's was great. I'm looking forward to next week to see what the hell's going on! Quote
JoeMI6 Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Last night's episode was really good. I liked the 'Ood', they are pretty cool aliens. I just hope that the spoliler didn't reveal all of next week's episode. Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Yup. 'Spolilers' do that alot. :-P I tried to pay attention to my chocolate souffle and not the teaser. Quote
Vader Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Well what a difference a week can make, after last weeks rather dull ep i found myself totally mesmerized by what has to be one the best eps yet. For me this is what dr who is all about and i look forward to next weeks ep. Oh and the spoiler trailer for next week didnt really show much. Quote
UltraPrime Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 I agree, best ep of the series so far. Eben better than the Cyberman story! I wasn't aware it was a 2-parter till end. Just shows what can be done if they give a little more story telling time. Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 First episode at dutch tv tonight. It'll be at 7 though...and I have to work at 7 every week :-/ Quote
Andrex Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 'You will die in battle' 'This is the last tale I will ever tell' Eek! Cybermen and ghosts, Torchwood, and the departure of Rose, the next two episodes are set to be mindblowing! And did I see a DALEK beam?! Uh oh, this is going to be tense! Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 I agree the next to episodes are going to be fantastic, even if I got accidently spoiled for it :-| Quote
Andrex Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Hmm, if anyone wants to watch the trailer again, head to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pB6pNyGq-Q...h=Army%20Ghosts I have seen it a few times now, and it keeps getting me thinking, hmm... Quote
Vader Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 So we know its a cyberman ep but rumors were flying earlier this year that the daleks would also be involved in a war between the two, so perhaps that was a dalek beam we saw. Quote
UltraPrime Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 This weeks episode seems to be overshadowed by the preview.... Cybermen back - YES! And looks very probable that at least one Dalek will be there too X-D I'm certain there will still be another surprise in these eps... Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 I'm veru much looking forward to next week's episode, looks like a fantastic end for Rose. Quote
Andrex Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 A discovery someone made, possible spoilers for this episode I guess, it is off the trailer but some of you may not of spotted it. http://img148.imagevenue.com/img.php?loc=l..._AogTrail19.jpg Look at the people behind Rose. Look familiar? Two worlds are colliding, any guesses which? Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 I guess that pretty much confirms that it's the alternate universe seen a few episodes back. Maybe Mickey Smith will return 8- Quote
UltraPrime Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Army of Ghosts. A great ep that had everything! Including Daleks! I really can't wait for next week. Is the Genesis Arc Davros? Does Rose die, or was she speaking figuratively? It's going to be a long week... Quote
Vader Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Great ep and just what was needed after the football :'-( , i thought the same as you prime that the genisis pod might contain davros. It sure would be great to have him back in charge of the daleks, hopefully we will also see a great dalek cyberman fight. Quote
Andrex Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 :-D It HAS to be Davros - the shape the the term 'Genesis' as well as the Void Ship kinda gives it away! POSSIBLE SPOILERS - Next Assistant Confirmed Just in case you don't want to know yet... The new Assisant IS Freema Agyeman, officially confirmed. Yes I know she died but she will be playing a new character next year. She won't be in the Christmas special but ah well. http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pressrele.../agyeman2.shtml Head over there for proof *sweet* Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Lets hope she's not under the control of Cybermen this time. :-P No, I dunno what she did that was enough to attract attention. But who knows, I didn't expect great things from Billie Piper either... Quote
