Amazing! It's a bit similar to the BNSF, but wow - the colours, the container cars, and that truck! This is a must-have. It'll be my first Maersk set - hopefully it's not a company exclusive but will be freely available like the re-released ship.

Gee, what a way for an intro....drop a few bomb shells.....welcome to EB 'fredolego' ! :sweet:

Modular pet shop eh ?

Ah, last year they had one in Duplo ?

So, does that mean if it comes out in Duplo we might get it in the city or modular build areas ?

It's about time for a post office, gee when was the last one...well I guess that one might in 2012....hey, wouldn't it be cool if we get a postal van like the money transport and a express postal delivery truck like the TRU/Lego semi-trailers ?Oh, yeah and the most AWESOME thing if it's true.......'Who let the dog's out ?!'....a dog pack...please have a border collie in it...please and please be TRUE !

Brick On Everyone !

Back when the TRU truck was released, I read a post saying that there WILL be a THIRD truck in that style...done in green, IIRC.

*shrug*

We'll see.

10219 looks amazing and it will bring an end to the $175 (£110) Maersk Blue Construction helmets (3833.jpg) on Bricklink! Its price will probabaly be out of my budget, but I may buy it anyway.

I think this set will be available March 1st!

Shall this be an information or only a guess, grogall?

Anyway: If released not only on a limited basis, I bet that it'll be released in March, too, - like the Emerald Night was.

But why can't they release both the modular and this in March?

I remember that already some time back someone told us that the modular building this year will firstly come out in June or later (like the Fire Brigade did in 2009). Maybe that's the case because I could well imagine that TLG will release an exclusive OT in spring - and so they need a bit more time between all these big Exclusives.

Police,Police,Police...Fire,Fire,Fire... Is that all that makes City?

What about less Police and Fire sets and more Farm and Hospital sets? We've seen many police and fire stations , but no hospitals?More civillians?

Space sets were a nice addition to the Lego City!

I'm no train expert, but wouldn't we be able to see if it had power functions built into the engine? This set looks fantastic, though... despite the fact that it has no tracks and is clearly not a starter set, I'm certainly tempted to start saving now!

Over in the train forum they have already said by the looks of it - it's possible that it will be PF and someone has found a picture of a real one....dam, Lego had got it right !

Wow, up to 3 pages already on this in said forum - 'The Brickster' will go OMG ! too !

Now I though by the shape of the rocket, it carried a payload that's not human...err I mean minifig or I'm a thinking too old school rocket science eh ?

Plus why would I put a rocket launch pad in the middle of a city.....man, are Lego City's town planners a little....well crazy !

Well I might buy the big rocket set, but pass on the shuttle !

Thanks 'Brickviller' for the YouTube link ! :sweet:

Keep on blasting off !

is it able to attach the space ship to the rocket to make it look something like this?

6339-1.jpg

the rocket alone isnt very impressive it would look so much better if they were combined like the old set

New train set everybody default_wubnew.gif

10219-1.jpg

I wonder if it's power functions (looks like it), Well all that I know is that I'm getting it. default_laugh_new.gif

Very cool. With those containers and that trailer.... I see potential for a Road Train moc. Or at least some double semi truck trailer. I wonder if the 5th wheel hitch raises up like in the real yard moving tractors? That would be a nice touch.
