Just feel for the bumps; their positioning compared with the sheet telling you which is which should give you a pretty good guideline. If not, just feel the packaging; that will probably be easier.

The bumps aren't "bumpy" enough to distinguish by touch. You have to visually identify them, which is not always as easy as it sounds.

They aren't? *huh* I thought they would be if people were able to notice it in the first place. Oh well, I wouldn't know as they aren't available in the UK yet. Which brings me to that question once again; when are they are released in the UK? People always seem to ignore this question when I ask it, :hmpf_bad: which is why I am asking yet again.

A few pages ago Estephano told that according to his queries Series 3 is coming to Germany in January, maybe only in the middle of the month due to the preceding holidays. With no other information I think it's safest to assume this is the case for whole Europe (well, some distant corners like Finland might be somewhat later still). Interesting to see whether the dots are different for the European release.

I hope not. :hmpf_bad: They should keep it the same; that way there won't be as many mistakes made with the dots.

Someone asked at the end of November if they were available in the UK yet, I replied:

Not yet & not sure they will be for a few weeks yet.

My TRU have recently received another box of Series 2, which would suggest Series 3 aren't here yet.

There's also no need to ask the same question 3 times in 3 hours on the same thread!

I haven't been out this weekend, so I can't be certain if my TRU has recieved a new shipment of Series 2, but they better not have; I want to get onto Series 3 ASAP!

Livingston had a box of Series 2 delivered last weekend.

they are now on lego.com

Thanks for the tip! Love the new bios.

The elf's bio pretty much completely makes up for that false lead LEGO gave us way back in the days of Fantasy-Era Castle:

Hailing from deep within the mystical forests of the Elflands, north of the great Western Kingdom, the Elf is a skilled master of the longbow and a wilderness scout without equal.

I don't even quite understand the Race Car Driver's bio. Is this supposed to be a reference to something?

Years ago, the Race Car Driver met a mysterious man with a robot monkey who told him that he would be compelled to go faster and faster all his life.

And the Space Villain's bio is quite clearly written specifically for the enjoyment of us AFOLs. Space fans will just have to enjoy that one in full.

I'm also happy to see that the downloads section now includes downloads from every series of collectible minifigs, not just the current one. Great news for those who missed their chance to enjoy posters and wallpapers from Series 1! New games for Series 3 haven't yet shown up, and regrettably it seems like there were never going to be any videos marketing the Series 2 minifigures. But still, I'm very impressed with the updates and am sure LEGO will have some glorious stuff for us once Series 3 has made appearances everywhere and Series 4 is on the horizon!

Aaaarrggghhh... immediately opened up LEGO.com to order a batch... I need people to be more specific! Not available for sale!

Anyhow, I'll wait and take my chances ordering batches of 16 from LEGO.com when they're available before I spend $4 at TRU for picked over scraps.

And the guy who put the pin for Gwinnett Place Mall TRU in GA on Cygnet's map needs a geography lesson.

I'm pretty sure that's some reference to Speed Racer.

And it seems they spelled Gorilla wrong

Which month does series 3 come out in the U.S?

In January, but they're already out in some TRUs and Fred Meyers stores.

In many places, it already has. Best plan is to keep checking those stores in hopes of finding the figs. No idea how long they'll last this time around.

Also, Speed Racer has no robot monkeys as far as I know. Any other guesses?

Well...would a 'Space Pirate' have a robot monkey?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the mummy is the first minifig EVER to have head printing, leg printing, arm printing, front torso printing, and back torso printing?

Found 3 cases at a TRU today. Every last one had a 1/2 inch cut in the back of the package and all the tougher to find figures were picked. Don't know who I blame more, the a-holes that did it, or the employees who are constantly in the Lego area, that overlooked this.

I snagged 25 the day after the Brickpop guys hit the motherlode. I was one of the first to buy 'em, that worked out nicely. I have all but the elf :(

I think so! It's really great-looking. I just LOVE the new hats. Rapper and baseball player.

Thanks for the replies, luckily there is a toys r us near me, I might check it out!

I heard they are $4 each there. Double what I got 'em for.
