Ninjago is released in Japan, including a magnet set with blue and black ninjas in their ordinary clothes and Knuckal. The pack says the lego elements are glued together. Anyone own this? If so, are the figures also glued to the magnets? I am just not buying magnets any more I guess. I will probably wait for wave 2 of Ninjago, only the white dragonrider ninja is a must have for me so far.

I picked up 2 cheap sets at TRU here, and already popped up a review. I highly recommend 2258.

I want a minifig of young Kai. And Sensai Wu's tea set. Okay I can live without the tea set but young Kai looks cool. Lego should have included him in a set. Hope they do the ship seen in the trailer as a set.

Seems like there is going to be a book

Clicker (scroll down a bit)

Ooh. The rumours are true, then.

Brickmaster books are way too expensive here, though. It's $40 for a small assortment of pieces and the book itself, which probably takes up most of the value.

I think I've figured out something. The sets seem to have the new square-hilt katanas, while the others (magnets, spinner packs etc.) have the old octagonal style. Since the spinner packs contain Chinese plastic, maybe it's because the moulds haven't been updated. I won't be getting them anyway, as they're around $15 here (for one minifig!) and I'd rather spend that kind of money on actual sets to get the ninjas.

Out of the new summer sets, Garmadon's spinner really interests me. Right now though, the Turbo shredder gimmick seems like it's worth the price. My main concern when it comes to buying lego is if I can keep it intact in my room without one day thinking :"ahh, this looks boring, Ima take it apart and store it somewhere where I won't be touching it for a long time."

Yeeaaahhh! I did that with a few Harry Potter sets, I just wanted the figures/accessories but the sets bored me. Only recently did I make a neat little magic shop with the pieces.

I would get the Dojo, though I'd pobably want like 3 or 4 to make a decent one, not just 1 wall.

Yeah, I'm just getting Ninjago spinners (zane dx, nya, garmadon <--best ones imo) this year-- not even gonna touch the sets.

By the way, I saw a Ninjago commercial on TV yesterday. Apparently "Ninjago" is the name of the land the ninjas live in and is pronounced "Ninjaaago".

I'm sorry, just for verification: jaaag as in jagged? Nin-jag-oh? That is even worse than Maku(ta)hero City!

I'm more than a little concerned about the godawful printing gaffe on this fig:

Ouch, hopefully that's from one of the spinner sets. I don't want any major misprints in my army.

It's from the bike set. It's probably just a one-in-a-million thing, though. Just happened to be highlighted as BrickLink's figure image.

Why don't Lego ever do printings on the sides of minifigures?

Cause they are covered half the time I guess, they do arm printing sometimes though :classic:

And did anyone notice the mistakes on 'meet the ninja part'?

The title seems to be 5 pages early...

For example on the picture of Cole? (Black one) The title is 'Skeleton of Lighting' whereas Krazi? (one with jester hat) is five pages behind no title..

Oh. In that case, it is probably a very rare occurrence. Maybe the uploader decided to draw attention to it.
