Ouch. 10 bucks for a minifig and a spinner? Thanks, but no thanks. I'll pass. I'll get one of the spinners through the LE set that includes it.

Its not that bad as Aanchir said it costs more for the blister packaging and the new molds and prints for the spinners and the cards it not that bad compared to other things like bakugan amd other brands :classic:

It looks like all of these prices are normal ones! We must hurry and buy before TRU changes their price! They don't have the temple thing that I like is the only one left to put on.

These prices (besides the spinners) are quite reasonable.

20 dollars for dragon? I was expecting 40 dollars! I'm definetly getting that.

I would order quickly before the insane toysrus markups :devil:

I really hope the dojo will be reasobly priced :classic:

Were you seriously expecting 40 for the Dragon? It seems fairy small and will have low piece count, even for a 20 sets. It is a great set, but I am not sure if I will have the money to include it in my budget considering the usual pricing I get for stuff that are 20 USD in the US (around 28 ish)

The Kai spinner worked earlier for me, but now it doesn't. :sceptic:

haha thats the only set I was planning on getting and it doesn't look that bad.

I thought the play feature was Kai cutting the wood, but its something totally different.

I really don't like the new skeleton legs, too blocky I think.

And did anyone realize that both the new Lego adventure themes involve in getting golden objects?

The reviewer didn't mention any back printing on Kai. I remember that someone was concerned that they might have their names printed on the back, reducing their usefulness in random ninja MOCs.

I would personally use tan log bricks for the patch of bamboo that Kai uses to ambush the skeleton.

Well it's really just long beard coming off the chin and 2 sides of a long moustache. What I like about it is you can pair it with virtually any headgear that doesn't have a chin

Yeah, that's what I meant. :tongue:

It looks completely different from the beard we normally get though, so that adds more value to it.

In hindsight, maybe the overpriced spinner packs are good. I seriously hope this means that people won't try to build armies like I will by buying up all of them. I expect them to be around $20 over here, with which you could get a battle pack with instead and get four minifigs instead of just one.

Oh, I guess I am said "someone". Well, if there was no back printing mentioned, I assume that means there was no back printing. Either way, the headgear should block out printing, so whether there is any or not it shouldn't matter much.

Actually, I was the one who mentioned the back printing, because the ninjas had back printing in the Ninjago videos on the website. Perhaps that's just a detail that was added for the movie.

I'm glad to hear the dragon is really cheap. Cause its really the only one I want IMO, but I can't help feeling as if once I get the dragon, I'll want more...

Well, I was the person concerned. :tongue:

It's about time I saw the movie for myself, too. Somehow I expected it to look like an opening for a cartoon or something. In the first part of the video, we see the four DX ninjas. We haven't seen a blue DX ninja yet, and the dragon pattern varies, I think, as it was pointed out from an earlier image.

Maybe it's just me, but I didn't see any names, though I did see small back printing. I guess I was looking for other things...

The video shows a temple surrounded by lava, which was also shown in the guide through various parts of the Ninjago world. If I remember correctly, there is a rumored set called "Fire Temple". Sooo... I've got a feeling THIS is the temple that will be released as a set. Around August, maybe... I suppose it will be something super special!

By the way... Am I the only one thinking the temple set may include a fire dragon for Kai and Nya? Three other dragons are separate sets.

It might be like those Power Miners animations advertising sets, since it clearly advertises one.

Oh noes, seeing that review, I've now realised that I need to completely change my plans since there are dark grey katanas. This is very bad for my plans unless there are dark grey katanas in the two-pack spinner set.

Maybe I'm insane because of my obsession to get all katanas in the same colour. It's my main concern before the sets are released over here.
