August 12, 201014 yr Author Hi -Zenn, Brunei is located on an island called Borneo in South East Asia. Yup really enjoying all the threads and pictures. I this site quite fortunately while looking for specialist lego stores in London. As it is not easy to get some of the lego sets let alone the older ones here.
August 12, 201014 yr Bricklink.com is a great source for older out of production sets. Enjoy the forum.
August 13, 201014 yr Author Thx Burman, Been really admiring some of the pictures members post and managed to get a few things on bricklink.com thanks to Big Cam. So far the site has been great.
August 14, 201014 yr Welcome to EB. I bet that you get ridiculously high shipping charges in Brunei . Enjoy!
August 14, 201014 yr Author Thanks Dr Spock, glad to be on board. Actually just finished setting up my train sets from 1995. Cant believe they still work and in such good condition actually. A Saturday well spent. Thanks Sirius Black, yes it is actually quite mad the shipping charges especially for the larger sets. Fortunately I have a sister in the UK, an aunt in Australia and some freinds in New Zealand. So i normally get it sent to their home addresses and wait for them to pop by to Brunei. Unfortunately this only happens once or twice a year. But when they do come over I have enough sets to last me a few months. Hehehehe. At the moment i have the atot, 1 old version of the turbo tank, 1 new version of the turbo tank and a pirate tank in Australia. Though i did just purchase cad banes speeder from the states (cause they dont sell it here) through a friend who is shipping some stuff over. So I payed $15us for that.
August 16, 201014 yr Hi EB members, My name is Reza and I come from a small country called Brunei. Looking forward to reading the forums and admiring the pictures fellow members post. Cheers!! Greetings fellow South East Asian! Welcome to Eurobricks Reza. I'm sure you'll enjoy the forums here. I agree with you regarding the less availability of lego sets in our part of the world compared to others. That's why I rarely buy lego from our local stores, but rather Bricklink, and sometimes ebay, are my best friends. Edited August 16, 201014 yr by KielDaMan
August 16, 201014 yr Author Hi Kiel Da Man, Thanks for the warm welcome, yup ebay has been a good friend of mine for awhile now. my sisters have been trying to get me to stop buying stuff cause I get it sent to her in London. So she has a little corner for my things. The shipping prices are crazy thats the only reason I do this though. I have just recently found bricklink and have already ordered several minifigures a few days ago. I would of thought the Philippines would have a good stock of lego there, what do you collect? Am I doing this right by replying to you here? Worried cause I am not sure if you will read this.
