Solscud007 Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Hey guys and gals, late comer to SW legos. I bought the sets when they first came out during Episode 1. But lost interest and got rid of my legos. sold them to my lego friend. Well now thanks to the new ATAT and Slave 1 (much better than my first edition Slave 1) Im now hunting for a millenium falcon. UCS is a bit much now a days. I saw on Lego.com that the 4504 MF is not available in the US anymore. Any ideas what countries it is still available in? I know it is probably a shot in the dark but im hoping to pick one up for retail plus a little extra for shipping.

Anyway, your going to have a very hard time finding a 4504 MF for even close to retail. These are highly desirable since it's the last affordable MF that TLG has released. I don't believe your going to want to pay near 190 dollars for one on Bricklink. This set has been discontinued for awhile. Your best options to try and find one at a reasonable price would be to try eBay, Craigslist, yard sales, thrift stores, and other discount stores. No promises though. I wish you luck.

Yeah i know it should be in the BSTF but im a noob and dont have the post count. I was trying to see if you guys know if MF is still available on Lego.com in a country other than US. Since the website says "Not available in this country: US" I was hoping it might be available in another country then I could get someone, from that country, to order it for me and ship it to me. I guess I just have to hunt one down.

As for availability in other countries, unfortunately the MF is long gone from any countries. But for future reference, you can change your country on Lego.com and see what's available in other places: just click up near the top where it says "United States" or whatever, and you'll get a list that you can choose from. Can get tedious if you're going through all of them, but it's possible. Good luck finding a 4504! Edited August 17, 2010 by Blackicep8ntball
fred67 Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 I had this same conversation with someone who missed a "Cafe Corner" probably by only about a month... the price on the secondary market immediately doubled when LEGO sold out... it sucks, but that's just the way it is... the market dictates the price. You essentially have four choices: 1. Get incredibly lucky 2. Cough up the money 3. Try to build it on your own (which I've done with other discontinued sets, but not this large). 4. Go without. I've done all of 2, 3, and 4. I never seem to get lucky finding LEGO deals (the one garage sale find was something I wasn't really interested in, even if it was a nice and expensive set), but so be it.
