I was just thinking about this earlier. I'd like to see the 1x1 modified brick with 4 studs remolded to with only 2 studs next to each other. So it'd be a mix between the two current molds, one with 2 on opposite sides and the 4 studded one all the way around, only convert it to 2 studs on the two touching sides. It'd work great for corners of buildings or mini builds.

I concur with this being useful.

I would also like to propose the creation of an inverse version of part http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3044

Basically you take this part http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3665 then remove the 1 x 1 brick worth of material then combine 2 of them together back to back with 2 studs on top.

I have a use for a bunch of em in basic colors like red and yellow.

Looking at the City square set bus made me think of this:

Folding door. Same principle as the garage roller door section but upended. The piece would be roughly six bricks high by two studs wide so that two sections would be enough to make a folding bus door. Or indeed an interior folding door where a building has little space. Two pieces would be required, one with a handle and one without.

And to go with those:

Six high by four wide door frame with rail. A mix of a normal door frame with the rail from the modified plate with rail. Holes in the inside corners for the folding door pegs of the door section with no handle to attach. Rail at top and bottom to facilitate the sliding open and closed of the folding door sections.

One possibe problem with using such a door in a structure rather than on the outside edge of a vehicle is the rail meaning the door has to be raised by a plate height. A solution to this would be designing the extra clearance into the door frame. which would mean the doors being that 1/3 of a brick's height shorter. This would still give regular minifigs enough clearance.

Now that Lego have finally (30 years late!) produced a slope 33 double concave I would like to see it in black, dark grey and red.

Duq.... you took the words right out of my mouth.... AMEN to that!!! Also... they can add blue to the color palette.

From the grapevine.... I understand that this part will be coming out in sand green pretty soon... but it's not one of the colors that a lot of people have a large quantity of other 33 degree parts in.....

I have a bazillion 2x2 45 degree slopes in trans clear.... and have been adding to this assortment of this size since the 1980s.... it would be sooooooooooo nice if TLG made this part in 2x2 double convex (outside corner)... so that I could actually make a glass pyramid similar to the one at the Louvre... (used as a skylight)....

http://upload.wikime...dia_Commons.jpg

I don't necessarily need the 1/2 pyramid peaks in trans-clear... a single 2x2 tile in that color would be OK.... but geeze... they've been making those 2x2 regular 45 degree slopes since time immemorial.... it would be so nice to have a nice trans clear pyramid!!!!!

#60479, Plate 1x12, Dark Stone Gray, Reddish Brown, Brick Yellow - The 1x12 plate is excellent for adding strength to any large structure. It would make sense for it to be available all concrete and wood colors.

I would like to suggest a window 1 x 4 x 2 size. So basically it would be like the current 1 x 2 x 2 flat front window but twice as wide. It would come in black and white as colors (at the very least) and have glass in trans-clear and trans-smoke and trans-light-blue

A new Pneumatic Piston With a Valve Gear for Locomotives.

Just a smaller Pneumatic Piston that reaches 3 studs of length of the piston rod when it is extended and it would need the ability to be attached to studs but strong enough not to bend!

Although a nice idea, I'm not sure TLG would got make a brick like that, specially as one can use more of the 1x1 bricks with a stud. However, a brick like that would make it easier.

As the arch is a new piece, I'm hoping for extra colors, too.

The new Gothic arches in drk. tan, tan, light grey, drk. grey, and bley would all be very nice to have.

Part Name: Inverted Cheese Slope

Part Description: Instead of a hole to attach to studs, a stud to attach to the underside of plates and such.

Part Usage: To smooth the bottom of builds, such as creatures, and possibly stylized vehicles, such as space ships. I'm sure it could be used in buildings and other builds as well, but those are the two I find this part would be the most useful for.

They've got mini ball joints, so why not make a similar style like that for the larger ratchet joints. What I mean is that special style that moved in the same way as a ball joint, but smaller. I'm saying a mini version of the joints used for the ninjago samurai mech legs.

^ I another vote for this! I was going to post this but scanned the thread first to see if someone had beat me to it.

I particularly want this part in black, followed by red.

And on the topic of slopes, more variety of parts in the "Slope 18" variety too please!

What are some new parts TLG needs to have? I was thinking a 1X1 piece, kind of like a cheese slope, but less angular and more curved. Kind of like the slope of bow slopes. Some of my other ideas are a 1X1 mason brick, a 2X2 round brick but with a Technic pin hole instead of an axle hole, and maybe a glass frame to fit the lattice window frame.

I think there's a topic for this. I know it's not a new part per say, but I would love to see Lego bring back thin o-ring 1x1 plates. Those parts are very useful for unusual offsets.

-part name: transclear tile 1x1 and 1x2

-part usage: head lights and light bars

I found the 1x1 on BL some time ago at a ridiculous price and do not remember ever seeing it in a set. It has always been a mystery to me why this part is not in any set that has a vehicle in it.

LEGO have pretty much done this now with the 1x2 brick with bow that has appeared in many of the 2014 first wave city sets. Although it's 1x2 overall, the base is only 1x1. It's a nice little part.

Cheers
