prateek Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 I'd like to wish for the Vestas promotional wind-mill Right here I'd use the search function if I were you. I know it's crap but it works properly once in a while Quote
Calabar Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Right here I'd use the search function if I were you. I know it's crap but it works properly once in a while Very strange... I've not indexed that! No one informed me about that? I've to annotate to add it... Quote
Randal Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 If it helps at all, you should dismantle the dome and put it together in place instead of separate. LDD is horrible at moving one large section of bricks in the presence of another large section. I seem to remember that is how the other person who built this set did it. Quote

Aanchir Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I'm now working on the alternate models of 4954 Model Town House. Quote
Zeya Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 (edited) I'm sure this has been covered somewhere, so sorry... I just discovered LDD. I played around with it a bit, and I would love to recreate an official set, just to familiarize myself. I'd like to do a Pirate set. But I'm worried that LDD may not have all the required bricks. (E.g. treasure chest, parrot, monkey, rigging, sails...) Does LDD mode unlock a fair amount of these bricks? What do you gurus recommend? Maybe I could start off with a relatively simple set like Cannon Battle? http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=6239-1 EDIT: I'm well on my way now. There's a ton of bricks. I'm not sure if it was Universe mode, but I see all kinds of stuff including the coins, monkey, etc. Edited October 22, 2010 by Zeya Quote

(Including coins, the monkey, etc... also more faces, including pirate faces, peg legs, hook hands, pirate skull caps, pirate captain hats, and much much more.) Quote
Superkalle Posted October 23, 2010 Author Posted October 23, 2010 I just discovered LDD. Praise the Lord Seriosly though, welcome to the LDD Forum. Hope to see you around. And don't hesitate to ask any questions. Quote
BrickWild Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 I really like LDD4! It's better than the previous! I'm subsequently updating my creations too! Is anyone else willing to update their sets? Quote
Daedalus304 Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Yep! I went through and double checked all my posted sets - the ones that had/needed changes with LDD4 have been updated and marked as such in the original posts in the thread. Not that I have many sets in there yet, but it's done. And I agree! I'm very much enjoying LDD4 so far! Quote
legolijntje Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 I'm making the 8295 technic telehandler. This year I started whit it, but it was too difficult (for LDD3), but whit LDD4 it is much more simple. LDD4: Quote
Superkalle Posted October 30, 2010 Author Posted October 30, 2010 Good about updating posts Please, if you have updated your post, make sure you add a clear Updated to LDD 4 Paste this into your post Updated to LDD 4 Quote

LDDtechnician Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 (edited) Just gave up on this fine little buggy because of this bug. LDDTechnician Edited November 24, 2010 by LDDtechnician Quote
Daedalus304 Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 (edited) With a little bit of scaffolding you can actually get the parts to fit properly, it just won't count as a connection. For the sake of helpfulness I made a simple file with the two parts situated together as a group, as seen here: Which you can download here. All you have to do is select the group and paste/place as so needed. Edited November 24, 2010 by Daedalus304 Quote

LDDTechnician Well here I go again: Because of this error: i will update my previous models instead and then find some other technic model to build. JunkstyleGio Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Is anybody already doing the RV from the Build Togethersite? The buildinginstruction can be found here! I really woud love to see this set in LDD. A friend of mine who is a RV-fanatic would love this set as a designed by ME box! Quote
Superkalle Posted December 19, 2010 Author Posted December 19, 2010 Here's a nice challenge for the upcoming holiday: The 10210 Imperial Ship I know two of the important bow pieces are missing, but it'd be interesting to see if they could be done as custom elements and still look nice. And what about the sails? Can they be done nicely in LDD. Quote
